This may seem strange but I liked the character of William Strannix (Tommy Lee Jones' character) and his team as much as Casey Ryback because I find it really cool that the CIA and Navy would have a unit whose sole purpose is to take over and operate hostile navy vessels. I really wish Hollywood could make movie about a unit like this stealing a soviet nuclear sub sort of like "The Hunt for Red October" and "Firefox" (but Firefox was lame). Skillful warriors.
