  • Very nice review. I sold this line of speakers when I was with Sound of Music, which became Best Buy Company (1983 - 1986). I still own a pair of PS-10's; they have stood the test of audio time!

  • Hi, great information! Are they designed specifically for a left and right placement based on the tweeters position? Thanks

  • I have apair of AR-3A speakers, what amp. or receiver should i use?

They are 4ohm. I have the same Marantz you have 140 & 3200 for now.

    Thanks

  • I had the ps-9 and they were a great sounding speaker. They did dry rot soon after.

I bought them at goodwill $5.00 bucks

  • Just picked up a pair of these exact speakers for 15 bucks at a garage sell. They do indeed sound much better off of the ground. This will be perfect for a set of garage speakers for the summer.

  • @charlietuna127, nice score! Enjoy them, they are terrific little speakers.

  • I just picked up a pair of the ps10 and they are indeed made in 1983 ish, not from the 1990s, atlest in my case. mine need foam, the woofer seems a bit cheap compaired to the rest of the system, but becarefull, there is an internal tube for the mid and this makes depth a problem for a replacement woofer

  • The ps 10s were first made in early 90s i have 4 pairs of the ps10s 4 pairs of the ps8as 2 pairs of the ps6as and the matching pssw sub and one pair of the da5s the DA were the ones made in the 80s the PS series was made in the 90s they were originaly built by audio technica I run each pair off a seperate onkyo M501 at 150 watts if you have any questions about these feel free to message me I have owned all mine since 1992 shagwag83@yahoo.com
