  • you said this is louder than a BD pro spec??? they are INSANELY loud

  • So, for anyone looking to not be obnoxious...it's hard to say what that means. If you want to avoid noise, this is not the exhaust for you. For a 4 Cylinder vehicle, this exhaust can produce. I was not impressed with other styles out there UNLESS they were tuned beyond the exhaust for altered sound. You need to be up close to really know how this sounds. In my opinion as well as those who are enthusiasts...it's bad ass!

  • How much louder is this exhaust than the Greddy Tic? My friend has the Greddy tic on his si, and i wanna get the S2 60mm on my si to be different. But i do not want anything too obnoxious.

  • With or without the silencer?

  • already orded mine....sounds legit

  • How much was it?

  • im plannin on getting this after a K&N CAI. have you had any troubles with cops with this exhaust?

  • Ive been thinking about getting this exhaust myself. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you spend on it and where did you get it from. Btw nice video, good quality, it really helped me to hear what it sounds like.

  • I really want to get this. Its either this or the buddy club pro spec for my 09 civic si. I dont want the 70mm because Im pretty sure Im only gunna put slight mods. But I have one question.

Is the sound level of this 60mm comparable to the sound level of the buddy club pro spec?

I want it to be reasonably loud, but not obnoxiously loud, if you know what i mean.

and if you can, does the sound level compare to a megan racing cat-back on a prelude?

Thanks so much if you can help me!

  • It's pretty loud. It's not obnoxious IMO, but that doesn't mean my neighbors don't hate my guts when I'm coming around in 2nd gear with a 4K rev going. I would suggest going to a meet and finding someone else who has one so you can hear it in person. The cabin is the biggest change in sound you'll notice. Buddy Club isn't as loud and it's not as nice of a note. Make sure you check these out yourself in person before you decide. However, I am ALL about Skunk2 after this.

  • Haha Ah I see. Yea I wish they got the 70mm for my R18. But I got the 60mm. It sounds Wonderful love it.

  • @BboyUn5topable I'd be curious to know how any exhaust sounds on the R18 engine.

  • damm sounds perfect, is the cat back system or just the universal muffler

  • It's the catback system. Bolts right on. Only took about an hour or so to install. Was a blast to haul around in right after I got it on. Now it's just a simple reminder of how bad ass my Si is to drive. It might not be super powered, but they are just great driving cars.

  • If you don't mind me asking, Why did you get a 60mm instead of 70mm?

  • I went with the 60mm due to I'm not going to F/I my car. I like keeping it N/A and simple bolt ons. I drive a ton, so, I need to make sure I maintain my gas mileage. I think you need to sit in the cabin of a 70mm to really figure out if you want that big of one or not. Remember...they are loud.

  • If you want to hear the before and after, see my other videos. I've also got one for before and after an intake install. The exhaust probably wouldn't be as loud without the SRI, but it really makes a difference when you're pushing RPM's. I hope this helps any Skunk2 disbelievers. I love this thing!
