@RobertMilesMusic some of these dudes have to be using assisted controllers., not saying this dude is but i've been playing this since the 80s and i don't think i could ever pull these types of combos off
Shit man.... You crack you combos are very creative and originals....man.. you master! thanks i will practice yours combinations, you play in PS3 ?? you add me: "Niickolas_99" .. Good Work it's beautiful combos man !!.... I am surprised ! You Fuck Boss :P
@Catalinutz212 The combo itself does so much damage that by the time the damage at the end of the combo gets through, the damage scaling has nothing left but to give you scraps of damage. Think of it this way, every time you land a hit in sequence the damage begins to wear more and more at the end of each combo. Like the rusting of a pole, the bottom of the pole will rust further and further the more the pole is left out in the rain. Now, if only that pole were plastic...? =)
@RobertMilesMusic Yup, but instead of biweekly they'd have to be monthly or bimonthly. And there's usually at least one or two combos per video that i'd have to simplify or leave out if i was performing everything manually. Plus i wouldn't bother recording them in VS Mode so they'd all have the ugly Training Mode background. Et cetera.
@jvkenshin416 It's a little too complicated to explain here, but a lot of people have been asking so i'll write a detailed article about it on Sonic Hurricane tomorrow. Cool?

hey whats so special about programable controllers? i always hear u mention that u are using this to make all ur combo vids. whats the diff between normal controlelrs/arcade sticks
@LoneBaldEagle Maybe the first part of the Akuma combo, though you'd probably just do ultra after getting them dizzy instead of trying to rebuild meter for FADC. But yeah, these aren't meant to be practical.
I can't wait for SSF4 so we can see some Makoto (if she's in it) combos. I used to really enjoy watching makoto combo vids back when I played 3rd strike a lot! Thank you again!
I knew his jumping mid air was able to chain but I didn't know how until now. Awesome combos. The damage may not be as effective but best catch phrase for this
Awesome combos! but i came to realization that these combos are not very effective in tournaments cuz of the more hits you get, the less the damage is going to be. 0:41 as you can see 25 hits combo on Honda, the damage was very minimum despite of 25 hits. you can get same amount of damage just with Shoryuken, focus cancel, ultra. I think thats why professional players like Daigo or john Choi, do not use these long combos in tourneys.. They great for show tho!! very fun to watch!!
Tool Assisted, little execution required, but that's how I like it, I'd rather have technical combos than ones that are only done to prove that the player has god hands.
omigosh this is really cool thanks for uploading this. that last combo against akuma, does it have to be counter hit? looks like its possible even without one.
Yeah, you can do the first seven hits without counterhit but it won't add up to enough stun to dizzy Akuma. The counterhit is only there for the damage/stun bonus.
I can hardly wait for a Gen combo vid from these guys... I've seen 25 hit combos in actual matches, now tool assisted... well I can only imagine for now...
@SabishiiRyuu Haha yeah, he sounds pretty goofy there. I can't decide whether or not i like that style of voice acting in fighting games, but people convinced me to switch Honda's audio to Japanese for more recent vids.
good combos...but this is why I think Ryu is cheap. all them juggles he can do just leads to incredibly cheap shit. Plus a lot of that shit isn't very hard to do
Yes you can. In fact they aren't even that hard compared to most of the oldschool SF2 combos in my vids.
Tool-assisted means i used a programmable pad. So instead of doing QCF+P with my thumb, i told it to press D for 2 frames, then DF for 2 frames, then F+P for two frames. It's a very tedious process. There's more info about it on my website.
My guess is, it got embedded on some popular mainstream Japanese gaming site along with a few other non-English-speaking websites. So lots of views, but they comment there instead of here.
Haha yeah, back when video hosting was a big concern. But you don't have to thank me. Your videos were really good and i'm sure those guys were happy to find another kindred spirit.
This hobby would get really boring if we didn't try to make friends with each other.
Was wondering how'd you get basically training mode, except without the training mode stage? Since I see you chose a stage, and still had infinite time and meter.
Not infinite meter. Only infinite time, which you can select as you're entering Versus Mode. The only reason i have infinite time is so i can build up enough meter for the combos.
I think what i'm gonna do is post a screenshot on my website tomorrow and have another naming/caption contest. The winner will decide which character i'll do next.
Thought about doing a poll like you said, but sometimes those things get weird results. I kinda want to give every character a chance, not just Akuma and Cammy, haha.
