Ok first the sand was black. Second the Japs waited for the beach to be filled before they opened fire. Third most marines at this point wore camo helmets. Fourth in the first wave the marines were brought in with tractors no higgins boats

I find it strange that not one of the marines has a m-1 helmet cover. In reality, the majority of marines in the pacific theater had camo helmet covers.

they need to make a more realistic iwo jima game, with non-stop gunfire from caves and bunkers in the terrain. The beach in this game wasn't slanted like the one in real life, and there were a lot more guys taking the beaches. this is one of the better creations of and iwo jima video game though

@megacoolkid94 Yeah, I wish that The DICE guys in the Battlefield series did a WWII Pacific campaign game complete with huge detailed terrains, extensive hidden positions that you could enter, add flamethrowers, and add bayonets to all weapons as a toggle fire mode option (since the rifles were mostly semi-auto only). On top of it all, I would like either co-op for this or true single-player. BF1943 let me down because it was multiplayer only and I couldn't run around for fun at all to explore.

@ThePimpycat what really SUCKS is watching the facial expressions of those who were there when one even mentions the name of the place. They only wish they could forget.....You cannot conceive of how disgusted they are at those who sit in the safety of their room making a game of it. and rightly so, it's a total disrespect to those who died for our "right" to play these "games"
