@RichasB dude i agree with you!!!! the new legos are so bad that they dont even have steering wheel inside, they only have a stick in the roof, moreover transmission system is made for kids, i mean it works for openning doors and hood, but where is the real working gearbox(((((( the 8448 and 8880 rule!!!!
@TashkentClan Nope... The brand-new legos are quite nice since the set are BASE-MODELS..if you want to have a interior steering, Build one your self. and The new legos come with Power Technics "-.- without those, say good bye to Technic Vehicles.
@ikbenheelaardighoor The only way you can use THIS particular suspension kit is to buy this model. The 8880 uses a special suspension and wheel hub that has never been found in any other model since. You CAN use others. My recommendation is to go to sariel.pl and look at all of his vehicles, he posts very detailed shots of the internal workings of his models, and he has an "ideas" section that will help you get started building your own suspension.

Sariel.pl updates ALL THE TIME. So much that I liked him on Facebook, because he posts his unfinished things there first, so that you can see the internal structure better than on his site.
lol I got the 8880 car like 12yrs ago(it's that old right?) when it came out! Do you think this will be a collectors, 'cause I'll go digging in my ol' lego case and put this thing back together!!!
lol, dunno how old u r now... :D maybe... i remember, i got it in 1994 when i was 8 years old :D and yes, this is a rare collector's lego :) this is the onlyone i kept (and another one to get parts from if some get lose...) i've also put it together at christmas :D enjoy building it... still fun :D
