If this sounds like elevator music, it's because it's not the final album track. Still lots of production to add (back up vocal for example).  Listen to the version on Breakfast in Bed. It's the best cover of this tune I've heard.

I think the interpretation is excellent, the reason why the background singers track was not included mostprobably was because the studio wanted us specificaly to focus on Joan and her great talant. I would have liked to hear her on either om an M49 or a U47! but, its great on a U87!

You can bet they tried both a 49 & 47... This studio has several of both mics.The mic used however is a U67 ( a tube mic as well ) not an 87...
