@MitchellM15 They did use to do that on a fair few of the previous models, the Mk4's and Mk3's, especially in Wyong. Every Wyong/SMSdriver would shake the bin by sliding the arm in and out. Didn't matter if it was a Mk3 DART or Mk3 Refuse for the greens, it was very effective though.
i seen a truck at my area do that once and he was laufin about it with me and then an old man told him off lol!!!!!!!!!!! nice vid mitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of the Campbelltown trucks seem to have nice paint work on them, apart from the green waste trucks. But it sounds just like garbage truck. You don't see as many 29m recycler bodies as you do of the 25m recycler bodies. But glad to see a 29m one! Like Aussegarbo13 said, you have like it when the driver slides the arm in and out when bin is in the hopper.
Yep very nice paint designs, and they haven't been worn away yet by the sun :) The green-waste truck in these videos is only a spare - the regular truck is the exact same as the garbage truck, but has a green colour scheme on the signage.
i like bins

One thing is why does the claw when it emtys goes in and out, never seen that before, only on old trucks

That's just one method of shaking the bin, not a very common way though.

Yeah I thought I saw a couple with BFI on them! So is it the same company or related to the BFI here or totally different?
Trashman242 2 years ago
SITA bought BFI a while ago, just continued using their bins I guess.

That's neat, never knew they operated in Oz...what did the trucks look like? Same scheme as in U.S./Canada?
Trashman242 2 years ago
Yep from what I remember of that picture about 3 1/2 years ago, was the same paint scheme.
