  • excellent song and interpretation.

  • Love,this song!

  • Beautiful version of the classic!

  • Love it! Great job!

  • Well sung .. Well heart felt.

  • Maybe the most of people don't know how we Japanese make effort to study foreign languages, because our language has a lot of limits of pronouciation. We don't have the difference between L and R, we don't have V sound , we dont have si sound but we do shi . Then doesn't exist only consonant, but sillabe(consonat +vowel) like TOYOTA or SUZUKI.

  • Wonderful. Mr. o'sullivan would be pleased. I am.

  • daisuki!!!

  • Kisugi san is so charming and he really put his heart into singing this song. Great job!

  • viva Japan,

  • Dang... He is my dad's favorite singer! I'm surprised to find this... Never seen him singing in English. He's such a talented singer!

And people making fun of his English... F**k off haters! When American people speak Japanese 98% of them suck anyways. They can't even say Arigatou right >:-(

  • Bravo, molto bravo!

  • Arone again, naturarry!

  • I he could just spit the pebbles out of his mouth before singing I'm sure it would be 100% better.

  • This guy is very good

  • Les Dawson on the piano and you singing would be perfect !!

  • He sounds just like Gilbert O'Sullivan, but with a Japanese accent. I like it! :)

  • He speaks better English then I speak Japanese, thats for sure.

    Nice attempt.

  • Nice..

  • brilliant

  • A tear in his eye at the end. You know he felt the song by the way he sang all the way through. Language? no problem. We all know the English words.

  • Well said mate.

  • That's hilarious. I mean, he does a good job for not speaking English, but the lyrics are a total crack up. Good job, nonetheless.

  • I really would like to hear some of you especially those of you making fun on this guy's English accent .... singing in a foriegn language ...just try to upload your covers and see ...

  • You are so right. I try to sing in Japanese all the time and I know all these same posters would diss me. Screw them.

This guy's performance is very touching, totally heart felt!

  • Sorry, I meant R-ish Ls XD

  • I like the L-ish Rs :)

  • Very good work! :D

  • In a rirrle wrile from now

  • aww cute

    'cut me into ritto pieces...'

    arone again...

  • Beautiful 5,000 stars

  • This goes to show how far GOS and his music have gone over the years. Leaving aside his pronunciation of the lyrics, i enjoyed this a lot.

  • well he cant speak english and he cant rly read english, but the piano and his voice are great, just the lyrics dont fit but its still very good

  • you just heard him sing in english. how can you say he can't speak and read?

  • i mean, asian people without alot of practice have a hard time reading english.. they change R's for L's or W' or things like that, it sounds weird..what im saying the lyrics are rly sung well, but it still sounds very melodic

  • great music will be shared for worldwide, well done! cheers for Gilbert Sullivan's written.

  • its nicely played and sung.. accent is the only problem.

  • sorry he's not irish.

  • yea love this good work

  • great interpratation from him as always !

  • @sengoku94 Screw you! How good is YOUR English?

  • LOL!!! I love his accent!!!

  • Very nicely done!!!!!!!!!

  • @BERTIGO145 Upload a video of yourself singing in English and let us see how good your pronunciation is.

  • @schokolatita i have video of me singing this but i never condemn this man bec he is good, and the diction dont matter for as long as his heart goes with the song which he clearly has put his heart into the song...

  • nice man!!!

  • really well sung and played...very interesting to hear how a person hears another language.. well done and thank you

  • Bravo! I can hear your version and in its own way, it is soulful and genuine. English words are difficult to pronounce at times, but don't sweat it, keep on and express yourself. It is a beautiful song to play for others. Thank u.

  • Yea for the Japanese the hard 'L' is a real problem. Comes out more as an 'R'

  • Nice try, I guess.

  • Nice try to this guy, but his english is really bad. Lyric: "visit a near by tower" he said " bisharesh never tower" "Threw my seret off"?

"And a refot to make it kreer to foo ever was iraq nieuwshetoo"
