I like to include open and no visa required travel, patent as monopoly needs to be untied so that sensible solution is shared as common, non secret bank account balances coupled with digital money system and control of people to major decisions via digital connectivity solution (where the power of the mass is not limited to the election process).
no borders - no patenting - about all people equally participating in descision-making: let's first see if humanity is capable of seeing what is best for all
Time dollars are worth exploring in the context of developing social support networks and community values..
Out from that we are best trying to check the excesses of capitalism through the application of principals of sustainability and social cohsion by maintaining public services and goods.
but no you're assumptions are overly simplistic, it's about human nature.
These systems are ran by users who justify their betrayals as the distinction between being worldly and being naive; both anarchist and communist systems depend on naives to sustain them, when they stop working the systems do too; social trust is eroded, and the good become cynical and despondent; work is supposed to be a point of surrender for the ego; most get that but some don't & they can't see that it's their ego not their principles that are getting in the way of the work.
First I must say I don't believe this is feasible because the people would just then gravitate to the easiest jobs or even the menial jobs because in some ways it's much easier to push a broom than be a doctor.
I myself support a minimal near post scarcity society balanced with the resources to supply it but as many libertarians would point out in a redistribution of wealth when does 'yours' become 'everyones' ?
Simply because if for no other reason a doctor with a high salary can reward himself and have a greater sense of finical security than one that doesn't.
Of course in this conversation we have not discussed what the equal pay would be or could be , but the sad truth is that all money evened out to everyone is below a living wage.
On this though I admit just pulling my facts out of thin air, call it a reasoned deduction from everything I have read.
'Curas.' Is the life of a human being all about gaining money or gaining things money can buy?
We make the rules for money - not the other way around.
'Financial security' is needed because of the scarcity principle of capitalism, so your 'sad truth' is merely an opinion. Hitler used a pretty effective formula in bringing economic stability to German citizens that head nothing to do with gold in bank vaults. Look it up.
Yes in fact life is all about money and the things it can bring I believe.
Please understand that I say this not as something I support as right or proper but as a necessary evil of lifes little entropic truths that needs to be understood to be minimized as practical as is possible.
Man is a self destructive species who's over success jeopardizes us, no system is without flaw.
To be honest most of my Ideas come from a wikipedia article on post scarcity, so maybe you could tell me .
Oh and don't forget about the trigger effect, we live in a technological society with the majority of the population supported by cheap oil in a mechanized culture.
Even if it wasn't the quality of life would lower greatly as toiling labor to support just a life of substance agriculture was provided much less the resources for a technological one.
Although I do like the idea of a techno agrarian bio waste system perhaps.
So we are talking about post scarcity and some form of economic universal rights and a living wage.
I mean of course you weren't talking about world poverty but we didn't say whether this wage would rise n fall freely either, but now we have a minimum limit.
To be honest it sounds socialist and more than anything I see that as a flawed concept that wont work is why I think it shouldn't be tried
I'm not trying to be negative, closed minded or win a debate, to be honest I just fear it
I'm not talking about 'living wage.' I'm talking "equal wage-equal money.' The complete demolition of class. The end of money-as-debt capitalism. The end of 'bonds' and stock and other speculative bits. The end of 'profit.' Much more radical and meaningful than a 'living wage' - which is just penury.
The problem is that some people have too much and too many people have too little.
It's quite hard to describe desteni universe to as it so massive. But the point of desteni universe is quite simple.
See who you have become as a slave to thoughts, feelings and emotions. Forgive and let go of that which you have become. Direct yourself in common sense as what is best for all free from your past as thoughts, feelings and emotions.
yes - docters will need to look for a new motivation to study medicine instead of money
understand that jobs will no more be what they are now - many things no one will be prepared to do for another - as money will no longer be a good enough motivation - and many things we'll start to do ourselves instead of letting others do it
Motivation will determine what one do - to really do it for oneself and others equally because we see that is best
You make it sound wonderful, noble in fact but if we can accept that most doctors and other people that can pull high end figure salaries will work for altruistic reasons, what of the ones that won't ?
In the soviet union for example while everyone was supposed to be working at the common wage influence peddling and black market forces were the cornerstone of corruption.
A good doctor as opposed to a mediocre one could find secret privilege with those in power, how would you resolve this ?
No one will be in power anymore. We´ll all be given an equal amount of money. And the oppurtunity to work and earn money with a time based labour system. All given the equal amount of salary for the time put into work.
In this. The doctors that are bad will not get any clients and will be forced to correct themselves if they want any. But their survival will not depend on them being a doctor. As they will still have food, water and shelter.
those jobs that currently merely exist for self-interest as money - will disappear
we'll have to start looking at this world and ask ourselves: what is Actually required/nessecary to be done? and act accordingly - so an equal money-system will require self-responsibility and common sense
The ones that won't will find something else to do. The good news is that you will have doctors that love what they do and get rid of the asshole who are only doctors/lawyers/politicians/etc. to make a bunch of money. No profit. No riches to hoard. This is a brand new bag.
I recently talked to mom about the capitalist system, because she was talking about everyone having to work the same time often, even when your tired and stuff. And basicly, if we would not have this materialistic capitalistic society, a lot of jobs which include materialistic bullshit would be stopped, and thus more people without work, and thus work could be spread over everyone, which results in less hours work per person.
Cool Insight Viktor.

Me neither. Skin- colour. What difference does it make. We´re all here. It's unacceptable that people starve no matter how they look.

Equal Money system will not work. Because there is no such thing in this reality as equality. It is impossible to devide something equally.

Don't be afraid of simplicity. If you have ever worked in any field where real stuff is build, you know the best solutions are the simplest.

Work should be a unconditional expression of self. Not forced through greed or survival.

'Truths?' You mean crystalized opinions, right?
DarrylWThomas in reply to Curas1 (Show the comment) 2 years ago
crystallized opinions ? Humm, hard to say.
One can always step out of ones POV and take a subjective look at even the most self assured views one holds
For example I'm a atheist but while a Christian might agree with me about gravity he wont about evolution.
But thirty years earlier we might both have though that black and women were inferior also, truth is a can of worms if you ask me
Faith can hide as truth even as reason or common sense, so honestly yes it's what I believe to be true
Curas1 in reply to DarrylWThomas (Show the comment) 2 years ago
Why not give it a try? Let's see if a world where starvation, homelessness and economic exploitation doesn't exist is the best for all.
