i dont understand how he couldn't be put into the ricky martin episode i mean the show finishs on the 22nd meaning he has about 16 days before the next episode but i guess they wanted him to relax but i guess hell be back for the valentines day episode since they haven't started filming that one yet. btw i went to this show and it was AWESOME

Darren Criss is not "humble." He is a fame whore. This is why he shows up to every event. This is why before he was on Glee he went on a stupid dating show just to be on TV. This is why he gets creepy old gay men to give him roles on TV (Ryan Murphy) and on Broadway (the producers of this show). Anyone can hear and see that his acting, singing, and dancer are no better than the average highschooler's. If you can't, you are blinded by something else. We can that "lust."

I think it's rather pathetic at the amount of time you spend posting negative comments on a video of someone you claim to not like. I hope you find some happiness in your life. Posting hateful comments, yes they are your opinions of which you have a right to, is much like slamming your face against a brick wall. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I find it very sad when people try and tear sucsessful people down. With all the shit that going on in the world people actually come onto a video and complain about a person that has to everyones knowlegde has not done a thing to hurt anyone.

Regardless if he's 'faking' his love for his fans or not(personally I will never believe he does) Darren inspires people. He makes people happy and I am very proud of him for that. I find it frankly cruel that people would like to take that from anyone.

I heard clips of his singing on the show. It was pretty bad. But that's to be expected; he's not the best singer or actor. I'm sure the fans enjoyed it (they are all hormony teenagers). Let's be sure that there will be no Tony in it for this kid, but it'll be a fun run.

I find his false modesty annoying. We know he has huge ego. He's not fooling anyone with the "I'm so lucky" bit; he has a huge head and it shows.

Watch any interview of him, any time he's singing, any video before he even got remotely famous and didn't have to watch how he acted. He spends time to talk to any fans he meets anywhere, continuously does extra things specifically for his fans, and puts others before himself in the spotlight. Don't judge someone before you know anything about them. Your ignorance doesn't impress anyone.

@elizze6 That's part of the act, and hey, it worked on you! He has to make his fans feel special so that they come back for more. He is a fame whore. He goes to every event -- even Australian American Association, wtf? -- so that he can be in the spotlight.  Even when he tries to be modest, a smart person (aka, not you) can see through it. All the things you mentioned are all versions of self-promotion. Of course he knows more people will like him if he acts all sweet and modest.

I'm 30 years old and very far from the 'teenage girl' you claim all his fans to be. @KBlocker29 Does he have a nice voice?  Have you listened to his live singing? Trevor Project Teenage Dream (2010) or Trevor Project Hey Soul Sister (2011). Or his pitchy, off-key version of "Animal" that he sang on Billboard. I'm sorry, but he is a very very average singer. The only, and I repeat, the ONLY reason anyone likes him is because he is cute. I don't care what you say.

Because they are actually deserving of their fame and reputation! Darren Criss is not. Who knows what he did to make Ryan Murphy look past his bad acting and bad singing (there are rumors out there, after all), to give him tons of star-quality scenes right in the beginning, but he did.
