strike king buzzbaits are pretty good, had good luck with a 3/8oz chartruece/blue quite a few occasions

My method for buzzbait, Real so it is a inch or 2 under water, real about 3-4 times, then give it a tug, to splash top and get attention, then let it drop and pause for a second, then start realing again, bass like to strike when bait stops, make the noise, let drop for a second , but keep a slow retrive when u let it drop so the blade moves, dont gotta be fast just to make that shine, i catch bass all day on them.

just hold your rod tip up and bass will explode on them you dont even need a nice one i have a 1 dollar wall mart one and ive caught many smallmouth on it but you have to reel it realitivly fast which means you cant use them in cold water situations

This video sucked... The presentation should have been shot around some type of water structure.. Stickups, Stumps, Lilly pads Etc Etc... Just throw it out reel it in, Twitch it, Jerk it, and alot of times I will stop reeling about 6 feet from the bank or boat and let it die you will get some amazing strikes doing this...

i agree you should try booya's brand of buzzbaits with the painted blades ive gotten a lot more strikes with them real early in the morning than any other buzzbait

I don't buy strike king... If I buy a specialty bait or lure, it has to be made with Gamakatsu or Mustad hooks... I bought a pig n' jig from strike king and it rusted over after a day of use, I lost the same lure made with a gamakatsu hook in the water for 3 days and it came out shiny XD

Not to doubt you (I like Gamakatsu hooks myself, as well as Eagle Claws...), but the reason the Gamakatsu hook wasn't rusted was because it wasn't exposed to air. If it was underwater the entire time, it would be relatively protected, unless you happened to leave it there for a longer amount of time.

the way i look at soft baits vs hard back. 1 hard bait $4.99 1 pack of soft bait $4.99 with more than 1 in it. plus rigged right you can make it weedless. and have it for alot longer.

LMAO i saw the same thing. I think he does it to keep the bait near the top of the water once its on top making the buzz then lower the rod. but I'm no expert I did catch a peacock bass with a strike king though I just bought a booyah pond magic and 3 $1 buzz baits from walmart.

some times yes but u can mod it with a simple beed of some sort and bend it back, take off the blades, put on the beep, put it all back togather and u have a buzz bait that will allmost never get stuck on itself
