  • I like the fact that a reformed thief like Mike Hamar became police chief. At least he would know how people can break into things. lol. Only in Canada can that happen!!! (I am a Canadian)

  • What a show and what a grand finale!!!!!!!! Thanks so much Red and Gang for all the laughs over the years! Hopefully they told ranger Gord about it--- it would be really really lonely up there without Red paying a visit every once in a while!!!!!!

    DUCT TAPE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My chiropractor is Candian and when he asked me to cross my arms, I did the Possum Lodge salute and recited the motto. He thought that was hilarious.

  • I've seen rolls of duck tape that big, lol. They're not that heavy.

  • he is telling the truth when he talks about going back to live preformances, i saw him a few weeks ago live in calgary

  • Now this is a wedding! Short and simple!

  • was that a real roll of duck tape or just a prop?

  • @cooldaddyjames2814 It's probably a prop. A real roll of duct tape would be pretty heavy and it would be awkward when they pick it up.

  • this was one of my favs episodes but it was the final red green episode ever:(

  • RIP Wayne Robson, who played Mike Hamar. He died a couple of months ago at the age of 65.

  • When Harold and his wife have children, how much you want to be they are chihuahuas? lmao

  • Church of the Holy Unnecessary. LOL

  • 300 episode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 4:23 lol

  • 4:13 lol

  • Props to Rick Green for showing up for the series finale.

  • @StoogeWatcher: He was Bill if I remember correctly.

  • This is the best show on TV!!! As Red says: It's better than all that mindless CRAP that's on TV now!!!!!

  • Ya want ta know sumethin? Do ya? Huh do ya? Ya know what? It's scary. I looed like Harold at that age. Yea I did. Did ya know that/ Did ya? Huh? But I am nothing like Harold. No way. Do ya understand? Do ya?

  • Good for Harold!! I just loved that Character,, he was funny!!

  • Good bye to one of the best shows ever.wish it was still on

  • There will never be another funniest show on TV. Red Green is the best!

  • i miss being able to watch this on tv here they don't have it anymore lmao it's just like my wedding no i'm kidding

  • i miss being able to watch this on tv here they don't have it anymore

  • Harold and His Family (YEAH FOR HAROLD!!)

  • We are useless and we are still here... We are like Senators! BEST LINE EVER!

  • we miss u red!!!!!

  • Is this the first time a chicks been on the show?

  • @llamafur not at all

  • @llamafur No. Melissa DiMarco played a nurse in one episode.

  • the bride's pretty damn hot

  • @djdragoneyes "How bout no, you crazy dutch bastard" LOL

  • "Ditto!"

  • there makin harold noise's at 5:12

  • To watch this, the ending of the final episode of my favorite show, i was nearly in tears...

  • whoa harold got fat..

  • Red is my hero. It is rare in the media to see a show that shows real men instead of modern, politically homogenized wimps. We see the same old Los Angeles snobs starring over and over again, but from their midst the Red Green show stands out like a beacon in the darkness. Can we fix that with duct tape? YES WE CAN! Congrats to the whole gang at Possum lodge, and everyone else out there. Keep your stick on the ice!

  • this is the funniest show ever. and thank god to my PBS station that allows me to get to see it twice a night every night. RED GREEN FTW.

  • @xXxSpadexXx14 nice mine is twice a night once a week.

  • OMG. Its a female Harold!

  • God bless them both.

  • Aww the last episode, this is it...

  • @conman5304 Sadly. . .

  • harold's fiance was pretty hot

  • wow that was awesome... i finally watched every single show!

  • the wedding gift!!!!!

  • Man, this show brings back so many memories! We miss u Red Green!

This show needs to come out on DVD pronto! Anyone agree?

  • Oh yes!

  • @tomboyangel78 A few of the seasons have been released. Check their website.

  • @DuctTapeBanditJ really? what's their site address?

  • @tomboyangel78 totally agree with you

  • i remember this used to come on late at night great show

  • I heard somewhere that people are trying to revive the show; or something like that. I'm not entirely sure.

  • @splintercell2002 Red is on tour with some kind of solo thing related to the show.

  • harold is awesome XD

  • "Even if I got that it wouldn't be funny!" -Haha! Classic! Love it!

  • was this the last episode or somethin?

  • yes,smash21000, this was the series finale

  • Sorry to say, yes! We miss you Red Green!!!

  • OMG Harold got married.

  • Msz1 - "I'm a liberal and I find this show funny"..

I have no name, no title, no label, no political stance as they all are the same anyways. I find this show funy and then I saw your comment, this just 1-upped the show!

  • my favorite show, been watching it 12 years.

  • Harald? Liek.. HARALD?

  • i lived down the street from harald

  • I'm A man but I've changed because I had too Oh Well

  • I solute the Red Green Show

  • was this the last episode??????????

  • yep

  • yep

  • Is that Bill in his usual desk during that meeting?

  • yes

  • I think its awesome that Harold and Bonnie get engaged in the first episode and married in the last... It wraps it up really nicely...

  • I was watching a pledge show for Red Green on TV and Harold's bride said "I'm so excited ya know why? Ya know why? Ya know why??" that made me laugh so hard.

  • "Church of the Wholly Unneccessary" and "don't even need a woman for that anymore" I thought were Red's jab at Canada's same sex marriage law and closing of churches all over for not wanting to be forced to perform same sex unions.

  • Yes, they probably were. But I think it was appropriate for his show, I mean this show's followers I'm guessing are mostly conservative leaning men, and a few women. I doubt 'metrosexuals' or gays would find this show funny.

  • I'm 21 and liberal and I find this show funny.

  • I'm 24 and Conservative, and I find this show funny. It's not a political thing, it's good comedy.

  • It's not a political thing, it's good comedy....I agree, it's one of the best comedies i've ever seen

  • I totally agree. People always seem to have to bring in politics, religion or something that doesn't even have to do with the video to ruin the fun.

  • Wrong, the govt. of Canada doesn't force churches to peform same sex marriage.

  • From Dallas, Texas, thanks a bunch! Didn't know the show ended, but it was GREAT while it lasted.

  • I love red and the show

  • Last... episode... !??!

I want to buy a dvd compilation of ALL 300 eps. ummm is it on Amazon? damn... suddenly im a little sad after seeing this...

  • lol was i the only one who cried at the end of that last red green episode?

  • i did to

  • may i say.... BEST SHOW EVER!!!

  • took the words right out of my mouth, lol

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah it was a show! His name is Steve Smith. He and his wife started it a during the 90's, and it went fro there! If you don't live in Canada though, you can't really watch it. At least I can't in my area!

  • @drummerdude6485 AMEN TO THAT!

  • And HOLY MACKEREL!

  • this she is the best show ever made

  • ahhhhhh LOVE this show!!

    :'c

  • Birds of a feather..... wow last episode.

  • Too bad they didn't have the other stuff in this clip.

  • This episode is enough to make you cry (if you were a BIG fan that is). I'm gonna miss them making shows. I liked them so well, I was willing to give up what I was doing almost just to watch them. (When it was on the air).

  • "That was nice Red, So... Hum any chance of going back on since I didn't know that you went off?"

  • What a great show and ending. What I really loved about Red Green is that even though it went on for 15 seasons and was wildly successful, it still had that campy feel to it, even up till the end. Thanks for the post :)

  • GREAT show been my favorite for years every saturday night at 10:00. Vey sad to see it over never seen last episode till now, very sad to bad it had to end thank you very much cmerenostay

  • Even though this is the last episode i advise everybody to watch this show its not just gut busting comedy but a real look at life a show where everybody can hold mirror up to themselves and see themselves for who they really are.

  • I always wish I could find it on at another time besides Monday at 4:30 pm

  • way to go Harold shes not bad lookin at all

  • My late companion and I loved watching this show. So damn funny!

  • Who was your late companion? Red or Harold?

  • His name was Ed. We both loved Red.

  • was this also the last episode?

or just an anniversary for 300th episode thing?

  • jay

i think it was the last episode. steve smith wanted to end it on a high note, before it got stale. and fifteen years is a long run.

  • awh that suckss.

i am in love with red green, i'd want them to go on forever.

  • last episode

  • Oh wow, it was odd to see Red out of his normal clothes. A great series finish.

  • "in fact, everydoy changed except me" RED GREEN we miss you. Steve smith, one day I hope to meet you.

  • red green man, thanks for all the shows man. We miss you but you're right, it was time.

  • At the credits of 1 episode you can hear Steve Smith use his regular voice. He basically shows the craftsmanship of an item they got from a fan. It was a decoration that had their shows possom insignia.

As for Pat McKenna I first herd his regular voice on the show "Puppets who Kill" where he was the head of an organization. (I think it was the CBC but I can't remember lol)

  • You know, both Steve Smith (Red) and Patrick McKenna (Harold) have very different voices in real life.

Steve's voice is not gravelly at all, and is actually sort of high. Patrick's is quite a lot deeper. Kind of surprising, eh?

  • lol this is awesome. I luv this show... even though Canada is just north of where I am DX

  • Love it..... great show!! Thanks for posting it...

  • Damn, I wish this show would come out on DVD sometime soon.

  • You can find some of the episodes on DVD. Look for Red Green: Stuffed and Mounted DVD's. They feature about 4 assorted episodes on each DVD. There are also a couple of specials on DVD. My favorite is "We Can't Help It, We're Men."

  • There's a prequel cartoon in development called "planet harold", i've heard. hope it's every bit as good as this show was. Also can't wait for the rightholders to release the 12 seasons that are as yet unreleased.

  • Really wish they hadn't retired the show. But my son and I watch it every Saturday night with a bowl of popcorn. We are so glad PBS is running the re-runs.

  • Was this the last episode as well as the 300th episode?

  • Yes, it was both.

  • head pin, pin head

  • I have the 6 dvd pack of some of the episodes (54 total episodes). I just wish I had more!

  • I also have the 6 dvd pack, I just wish I had some of the ones that I'd seen when the show was on the air.

  • thank you so much for posting this, i haven't seen the red green show since i moved from upper michigan to vegas.

  • They place this show on pbs. Thats how I always watched it.

  • Canada's answer to Tim and Tool Time...lol...

  • CANADIA!

  • i've never seen this before. which show came first? Red Green Show or Home Improvement?

  • Red Green first aired in 1991 commercially but Steve Smith made the charactor in the early 80's.

Since Home Improvment also first aired in 1991 I'm guessing Steve was first.

  • thanks!

  • I usaully don't care too much about PBS but this was one of the brighter moments sort of like "This Old House" meet Al Bundy. Long Live Red Green!

  • how many seasons of red green were there, 16 or something

  • Harold is so CUTE!!!!!!!!!

  • Ahh I'm not the only one who thinks so! I always loved this show and my favourite thing about it was/is Harold... ADORABLE

  • "Church of the Wholly Unnecessary"--I love it!

  • Winaton where did you get that ring?!Someone sold it to me!lol I love that!!!!!

  • ya red green is still alive, don't post stuff that isn't true.

  • Steve Smith(Red Green) didn't die, he just decided to retire.

  • Nerds have a chance.....to what power we can witness is a miracle in its own.

    Hurray for Harold!!!:)

  • Steve Smith is not dead. They ended the show because he wanted to bow out gracefully, not go on forever and ever. And it is the old episodes, 15 seasons worth, we will have forever to cherish and know our heart that Red and the gang will go on forever. <3

  • With this episode ends a legend and I watch reruns to fill the empty area in my life LONG LIVE DUCT TAPE!!!

  • Red Green made a comment about getting an Emmy. Actually, I believe one episode of the show (the one where Harold tries to teach his uncle about anger management (funny one, that)) was at least nominated for a Gemini, which is the Canadian equivalent of the Emmy.

  • piss off!

  • i'm sorry if you misunderstood i was talking to webfryes, yell at him not me and anyhow I LOVE RED GREEN!

  • They should of continued the shows!

  • where in the hell did you hear that? thats totally untrue. i have proof, AFTER they finished the show they put all his favorite episodes on dvd with him saying what he liked about the particular episode, so i think that proves he was and is still around.

  • Where can I get the DVD?

  • i saw those DVDs from netflix, its called

Red Green: Stuffed and Mounted. try amazon or something

  • thanks :)

  • Steve Smith is still alive

  • Was this the last show?

  • Yes it was. It was really sad to see the end come!

  • great ending for a great show

  • This show was on and off my local PBS stations, as was my TV reception. I was only able to catch a couple dozen episodes but it has always made me laugh. My only real disappointment is that I was not able to follow the show regularly while it was on the air.

  • Thanks Red and freinds for a great show!!!

  • Encore, Encore...

  • I mean episode not show, when did this episode first air?

  • when did this show first air?

  • ah, this show helped get me through many boring nights up north

  • Bravo!

  • My ex husband turned me on to this show. I love The Word Game! Our local PBS station quit showing this right before he passed away earlier this year. This clip brought back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting this!

  • Who passed away??

  • i think she means her husband

  • I had never heard of this show until I went to school in Northern Vermont in 1998. A few friends of mine from Maine told me to watch it, and I was instantly hooked. SAD to see that it ended. Awesome show

  • its sad to see the last episode of one of the most funniest tv shows I have ever seen. lol hopefully Red Green will live forever in syndacation.
