Do YOU realise, that 1,5h of surfing for 20 people costs $50 each? With that money, you can alternatively spend a holiday at the mall. And a constant, controllable and safe wave environment isn't comparable with natural spots anyway. There you can really push you technique without unnecessary distractions such as weather changes.

That sort of takes away a lot of the point of surfing, the massive power of the ocean and being at one with it and all that. Basically, if you need a wave pool that you rent out and pay quite a substantial fee for, to learn to surf, perfect your technique or for some other nonsensical reason; no real point in you surfing. It makes a fairly free, community sport a consumer product.

well actually no you cant push your technique in a wave pool like this... you need a variety of waves from different shapes and sizes as well as conditions to fully understand and discover your technique... i doubt this waves pool can offer even 0.001% of all the possible shapes, sizes, conditions, and even double up sections to peaks, not to mention that you would sink more and get slide between your fins as the salt in sea water helps you float (this waves pool may be salt water i dont know)

you can surf either before the open or after they close. The cost is around $1000 and that gets you either 3 hours of surf or 100 waves which ever comes first. you can choose your wave size and break direction (lefts, rights, center peaks)
