I heard someone thought I was breaking the law by carrying a handgun at school. I was not, I have a concealed weapon permit and the school has no bans on carrying legal weapons. I would never break the law or recommend anyone else break the law.
I thought I heard him mention he was in school. Not sure what the specific law is in Utah, but generally speaking, it is HIGHLY illegal to possess a firearm (or any potentially deadly weapon ie. knife) on or within campus property. (In most cases, a class I felony)
I don't particularly agree with it, but please... by all means, be safe, and stay educated on the local and federal laws, and your rights as a citizen. I'd hate to see someone get nailed with serious, criminal charges.
Great review. My only complaint after buying the Malaga is that the CC pouch on the bag tends to bulge a bit, making the contents visible from the side. (Apart from the snap, it's completely open on the top.) I'm thinking about sewing some add'l material to the flap that would hold onto the velcro.
@sirrealism I noticed that too. the only gun that I can put in there without anyone noticing is my glock 26. I have a number of different pouches hooked on there now ( janus extension, Fatty pocket organizer, & 6 X6 pouch) so I have a number of different places to my 'heater'
Nice video despite the lack of tripod. Very informative. I tend to over-research everything I buy and have been debating which gearslinger I want as an EDC/light travel bag. I think the Malaga is going to be it. The one point you make about it holding just the right amount of gear before getting too heavy makes a lot of sense.
Looks like a great bag.... I was looking at a Sitka, but thought it may be too big for a one-strap bag. For EDC I think you may have found a perfect bag! Thanks for the video

@guvnor73 I pulled it off of a first-aid bag that I have.. I use it to show where my first-aid pocket is located.

@marquette048 I think this bag is as big as you'd want a one strap to be. any larger and it will be very uncomfortable.
