  • nice ,ace ,cool

  • I ride at Dalby great video...get some drops in at speed you would then have a masterpiece...

  • Great trail; at first I was thinking "Why no speed?" but then I read that it's a 22 mile trail. Haha. Great shot composition!

  • ace !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks like some chilly riding through great nature

  • are the whole 22 miles like this?? :D

  • @DomDom1242 ... Its all different and variable from North Shore to "Bomb" holes, Rock gardens and steep climbs with tight switch backs, Twisty downhills with teesing berms its all here. The course hasn't got a big verticle drop like Scotland or Wales but it has everything else. Must be good.. World Cup UCI was held there this year....

  • is that the xc trail? great video

  • @modgemtb

Yes.. its part of the 22mile red xc trail...

  • @modgemtb

Anyone who can make Dalby look good has my repect

  • that looks like allot of fun, i remember the days i lived next to the trails. i lived for the AM tracks, but now im in the middle of Montreal and it sucks having to drive hours away to get to any trail like this one. i keep wondering if work was worth the move away from Canada's rocky mountains.

  • @GTPDRIVER01 work to live, dont live to work! :-)

  • which song is this?

  • where is the track ?

  • @patrickandersen2 dalby forest

  • where is dalby forest i want to go

  • I like this a lot.... have done Dalby a few times and it's a good ride....

  • sweet riding

  • Hi agree with the most recent comments, great quality, what camera are you using, interested in getting one. Bye the way, re your comment on the new "big" bits of rock. They seem to have finished now and a nice improvement for the red and of course the main purpose, the World XC round in April

  • Panasonic SD (X3 CCD image) recorded in standard DVD mode. Compressed to maximum file size for you tube and kept to around 2 mins duration.

  • nice song and clip to.

  • Well filmed. Thanks.

  • this track is AWESOME!! claen and perfect!!

  • really well shot video. Well done!

  • There are various additional challanges from "Bomb" holes to rock gardens, steep climbs with tight switchbacks to fast flowing decents with berms. All graded red so all rideable. Not tried the new bit off the back of Dixons Hallow yet where ther are some huge stone slabs set at about 30 degrees (ish). Full red is 22miles... Allow about 4hrs...

  • Great footage. Not done the red route at Dalby, does it get much more technical than that?

  • nice vid, but for real enduro u were too slow 4*

    btw nice music :>

  • Nicely put together vid

  • cheers bro... great vid :)

  • very nice trail

  • aw man, i used to live in york and rode dalby forrest most weekends. I now live in western oz...there is fu*k all mountain biking here...brings back the memories of one of the best mountain bike parks in the uk.

    thanks boys

  • Fantastic video . Me and some friends from thetford are going up to dalby at the end of next month . Really looking fowards to riding there.

  • great video....

  • is there dirt jumps at this place

  • There is a small dirt jump area in dalby forest known as " dixons hollow pace bike park" it's pretty low level stuff but good fun none the less.

  • Nice vid, make another!

    Gotta get to dalby forst

  • I like Dalby forest, tis not too hard but sum bits are still challenging (ish)

  • Whats with the Gay club music spoilt the video. Really good camera possitions could of gone more extreme on the trail tho, keep riding youl get there :)

  • "could 'have' gone more extreme..."

  • Nicely shot, well thought out, good music, well done

  • hi i have a Carrera Banshee 19" Bike 2009 do think it wouuld be ok to go on the red track

  • lol yeh definetly they could handle black

  • nice video, nice music

  • nice trail and vid shame about the gash tune

  • Really well shot guys, well thought out, good riding to i also have an enduro sl and dalby was great, cheers.

  • i live in york .... Yup

  • nice vid guys. i love bikes. nice camera n all. in my vids you have to put &fmt=18 at the enl of the url to see it in better quality. its still not as sharp as youre vid though.

  • That's a really nice vid, good camera angles

  • nice video clip of a much loved route, just about my pace too - havin fun without breaking ya neck lol

  • wow thts a realy nice vid, awsome camera angles.

    gd job

  • good vid, forestry commision should use it for promotion. music is shit though

  • You brave souls! Me and my friend went a couple of days ago to try out the red run and quickly found our limits! I came off within 10 minutes and had a few scrapes before going back to the blue run :) My suspension-less '97 Marin didn't help either ;) More training needed, it looks fun!

  • Ouch....sounds bumpy...You do need minimum hard tail to tackle red and have fun doing it...

Solid bike might break...either that or your teeth....

  • Yes, I think I'll retire the 11-year old Bobcat Trail soon. I'm after doing the Trans-Pennine Trail at the end of next month. I need to get my fitness up!

  • Nice vid! I go there quite often with my mate as I live nearby.

Went over handlebars just before '1:12'.

You're carrying some decent speed. I'm a bit slower but I am only 13.

Where are those jumps at 1:50?

  • Keep it going joespencer33. Wish this stuff was around when I was 13. You did well if managed 1:12 section...there's a few quite tecky bits...Jumps at 1:50 are 2 thirds in to red from visitors centre or halfway from Dixons Hollow.

  • i live really close to there, ive got a "kona stuff" but i still havent been yet

  • so meny jumping opertunities missed

  • damn that is some amazing speed!

  • Hey, watch it; Encouraging kids to ride that fast might result in them disintergrating from a crash.

  • Now...Now...no piss taking please...Do you have video? Howie & Hedge ! Which one is you ?

  • Thats me at "les gets",this is my dads account, check it out...my dad rides with howie and hedge!(lives in chamonix).

  • looks like ur just sitiing on the bliek and letting it take u u schould pedela alot more and air the jumps better and muscle ur bike around more

  • u should see some of the red route parts u really dont wanna jump off

  • Have exactly the same bike, use it around Glentress, no worries it likes to go way faster than my older one, exept in the snow.

I'm 42 and recently taken up doing this, just enjoy it as much as you can.

you can see from my videos how much fun I am having.

If you have only one bike, this would be it, "All Mountain"...

  • Nice riding! The terrain looks really nice too

    What's the soundtrack?

  • After Midnight by Eric Clapton...

  • what a cool vid !

  • nice vid,

goin to ride there in the summer. Could you do this on a hardtail?

  • Yeh...No worries davelad5...A bit bumpy in some places on red route...a few rock gardens, plus raised single track man made rocks & sand. Black might be tricky..just wear a gum sheild and some extra padded shorts lol...

  • thanks a lot. cant wait

  • ye dave itll be fine i gt a cannondale f6 and i did it and a lot of the time u stand up anyway

  • very nice vid, props!

looks like a nice place to ride!

  • All on same day laxwork...with fun riding in between. Quite a bit of time spent in editing room though !

  • nice place!

how many hours u spend to take this video?

    (I wondering..)

  • i love that route, good fun ;)

  • Hi sharabac2, Its not a DH bike, it is an All Mountain bike. The Spzd Enduro 08 only weighs in at 29lb. I also have a Trek fuel XC. The Endro is far superior in everyway.

  • Hi Poppycat - Me and my mates are thinking about heading to Dalby - I have a Trek 8000, one mate has a speccy FSR XC, another a Cannondale Rush, and another speccy stump - any good for the trails round there??

  • Oh yes maresth...All will be well. Might be a bit bumpy on some sections with trek hard tail. Some sections man made with rock and sand plus a couple of rock gardens..But lots of fun is waiting...

  • Nice one, thanks a lot mate, cant wait

  • GReat vid, but whoevers riding the DH bike its not really suited for that track though it can do anything.

  • yea i think thats aeather a 07 or 08 enduro, not a DH

  • Nice job. those trails look so mutch fun. very good video quallity to!

    Love and peace

  • nice riding guys.

  • nice riding guys.

  • nice riding, love it! where about is this trail? what bikes are u riding?

  • Cheers chrisnilsson91...Dalby Forest is located within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. A few miles NE of Pickering.

It has extensive purpose built single track. Blue, Red and Black trails with a big jump area and a short downhill section. The above is a short clip of the 22mile red which has some North Shore and rock gardens etc...

Fo bikes see "about this video" click "more"
