Great lesson - the humorous parts makes learning a lot more fun, why I think many teachers could learn a bit from you ;D btw your dog is so cute! Reminds me of Rebecca Bonbon ^^
Nice video. XD That Kanji can also mean painful or difficult to do something. It just depends on the context of the sentence. I don't know why there isn't a separate kanji for that word.
This made no sense to me but that's probably because I can't speak Japanese. (and I probably won't be able too for another five years thanks to kanji being so complicated.)
hey i want to live in japan one day and im really wondering is there work there or is worse then the u.s? please respond really part of my plans in life
I just started watching some of your vids and they have a really fun feel to them. It would be great if you could teach some more advanced Japanese in the same style.
The only Japanese food I can remember eating was some sushi about 4 years ago, when I discovered that the nice pink stuff wasn't raw salmon but a chunk of ginger. OH GOD
Why would anyone put a huge chunk of ginger in amongst sushi? Who could eat it? To me that's like throwing a ball of habenero seeds right next to a plate of nachos.
Hey thanks for the vid there geting alot better also omg i understood alot of what u where saying and i bean studying from u for around 2 weeks thanks alot man
Question:Did you like nato when you first came to Japan?
It's so hard to eat them! The texture is just soo nasty....I think it's something you get used to, THEN start liking. Am I right? Or did you love it right away?
I think its the same as chocolate. Its only because there stomach can't handle it because there not use to it. If you feed small bits of chocolate to a dog as a puppy they get use to it and its not dangerous.
lol i love the song in this video (the givemeabreakman song) bowie style :p

If it is a religious household, wouldn't you say itadakimasu, as if you were recieving the food from a higher power?
sixcstring92 2 years ago
Itadakimasu is just generally said whenever someone has made food for you.
It generally expresses your appreciation for it.
Hopefully Victor would back me up with that.

You're supposed to eat ginger BETWEEN bites of sushi when you change fish. It is actually supposed to cleanse your palate.
