hey can you tell me what motor and servos you have in this thing? trying to build a smaller plane but cant find the right electronics if you want to see it just look at my page and there will be a video on an f-5 thats one of the earlier versions ive made bigger that work better than that design do i am going to go with larger planes pdfs but smaller size. There will be a video on as soon as i know where and what the electronics are and where to buy them. thanks bv9073
it`s using teh Kyosho Parkzone Minium Cessna 210 Motor and gear unit, prop and the Receiver/regulator servo block from that airplane. it works only with their 2.4Ghz Perfex transmitter... but if you get the parkzone vapor receiver and the cessna 210 motor and gear then you`ll able to fly with a spektrum 2.4ghz radio
the ember parts are the same size than the 210s just the prop is larger and the gearbox has a different gearing )if i recall correctly). I wouldn't go smaller if i was you, the plane at this size (very small actually) works very well and even ROWs (rises of water). if you go smaller you will have troubles fitting the "brick" inside the fuselage as well as the battery.
it is :) this is one of the most docile flying models i have, normally micro birds are more of a challenge, but this is just plain fun ! can only recomend this plan. If you want to see teh build thread go to rcgroups and search for thayer symes micro drake

It flies like a model which has triple the size.
Looks fun to fly.
