  • I completely agree. I had to buy a chemistry book and the only form they had it in was the unbound version. So not only does that mean that you had to buy the "book" brand new, you can't even sell it back after you break the shrink wrap. Not to mention I only needed the first half on the book since I only had to take 1 semester of chemistry. So I wasted money by buying a brand new book that I only needed half of that I can't even sell back. What a fail. It is now rotting in my closet...

  • Yeah I was trying to figure out what the difference was between a regular text and a loose leaf book. The book store website had no details, so thank you.

  • KAWAII!~, also yea its absolute bullshit: my calc. based physics book and gen chem 1 book came unbound; you pay the same price (as for bound texts), its easy to lose/tear/otherwise damage pages, you're required to buy a binder, you can't sell back to the uni (or likely to other people, who would want those shitty unbound texts?), and its impossible to fucking leaf through the pages efficiently (im very frustrated with this trend)
