Price is guilty of distorting the Bible in so many ways. Those who follow him, because he uses the Bible alot, think he's right when he takes passages out of context many times. A perfect example of this is when he used Psalm 35:27 to teach that God has pleasure in the "prosperity" of His servant. Problem is, the Hebrew reads "PEACE" of His servant, as the Hebrew there is "shalom" meaning "peace." Despite this fact, Price and his followers still maintain the "prosperity" doctrine.
I wish people would play this in context because when I watch Dr. Price he always sticks to the word and there is nothing wrong with saying God wants us to prosper, because I listen to men and women of God because the word of God is the will of God.
I agree with all the points except for the one that discusses "if it be thy will". I knew Dr.Prices teaching well on this subject, and he addressed the scriptures you quoted, and harmonized it with his theology. The context is missing from that clip. But other than that I agree with everything else.
As for Jesus going to Hell, is based on the wages of sin is death. Both physical and spiritual.Though he died on the cross, I believe there's a verse in Peter speaking on how he led captivity captive...not quite sure, still though, that is where the train of thought comes from. Jesus told the thief, he'd be with him in paradise not Heaven. Back under the law, Paradise aka Abraham's Bosom. Reference Luke 16:19-31. There's more to it, but I'm running out of space.

Firstly, Fred Price was a sinner, a boozer and lover of women, and then at text meeting he heard an audible voice as clear as someone talking to you, say "You are to preach my Gospel" Now you can call him a liar and be done. but then again who would you be to tell someone what they did and did not experience. Now I would say that experience is very similar to Paul. that night, IMO, Fred Price became an Apostle.

Someone honored him with a an honorary doctorate and so in return he honors them by using the title. anyway.

It is not that God CAN'T do anything without our permission, it is that he CHOOSES NOT TO, without our permission! If He did then that would totally reject what He himself gave us, free will. salvation is for all who accept, as well as the work of God in our lives. But if God so chose to do so he could just over-ride our free-will. God Bless!

So if man has control, who no longer has it? God When God gave Adam dominion, that meant God no longer had dominion. So God cannot do anything in this earth unless we let Him. And the way we let Him or give Him permission is through prayer. Price teaches that God is subservient to man and requires our permission to act.

Price is guilty of distorting the Bible in so many ways. Those who follow him, because he uses the Bible alot, think he's right when he takes passages out of context many times. A perfect example of this is when he used Psalm 35:27 to teach that God has pleasure in the "prosperity" of His servant. Problem is, the Hebrew reads "PEACE" of His servant, as the Hebrew there is "shalom" meaning "peace." Despite this fact, Price and his followers still maintain the "prosperity" doctrine.

I wish people would play this in context because when I watch Dr. Price he always sticks to the word and there is nothing wrong with saying God wants us to prosper, because I listen to men and women of God because the word of God is the will of God.

I agree with all the points except for the one that discusses "if it be thy will". I knew Dr.Prices teaching well on this subject, and he addressed the scriptures you quoted, and harmonized it with his theology. The context is missing from that clip. But other than that I agree with everything else.

As for Jesus going to Hell, is based on the wages of sin is death. Both physical and spiritual.Though he died on the cross, I believe there's a verse in Peter speaking on how he led captivity captive...not quite sure, still though, that is where the train of thought comes from. Jesus told the thief, he'd be with him in paradise not Heaven. Back under the law, Paradise aka Abraham's Bosom. Reference Luke 16:19-31. There's more to it, but I'm running out of space.

Naturally things sound or seem bad, when you are only presented with a piece of the whole puzzle. It's like that NBC interview I believe it was, taking something from an example out of context. Always to quick and easy to point fingers, especially when we don't know what the lesson or series is about these clips are being pulled from. Point is, though Price does evangelize as taught in the Bible. Not all agree with his teaching AFTER one has come to Christ. A major difference between the two.

We never say anything about Jesus going to hell and that. I always here how he died for our sins and the gifts of the spirit. Yes very bad theology from "Dr." Price. What most people don't know is the unbiblical role of "word of faith" pastors. "WOF" pastors are dictators! I like to call them mini-popes! The presbyterian model is very good. A plurality of elders run the church. Not some unaccountable, egotistical,power mad person like Fred Price or Creflo Dollar!
