This song is the very definition of serenity for me. It provides me the mental relaxation that is needed in my worst moments in a language i dont even understand a single word of.
Ha ha! I am from India and I guessed this was Sindhi because of that peculiar Topi they are wearing - even Mr.Zardari wears it so I thought this must be Sindhi and from the comments I learn that it is!
Nice song - and I like this show because it shows the high quality of Pakistani artists!
@MWSARSCA you r right these r high quality artists and they r because of high class poetry and composition and instruments which's created by great soofi saint and poet HAZRAT SHAH ABDUL LATIF BHITAEE (R.A). Aijaz Ali Bhutto Bhit Shah Sindh Pakistan.
Rohail, what a wonderful job you and your team is doing! Our folk is one of the richest in the world consists of so many vibrant colors. We must stick to our heritage. A lot of these folk artists are known to me and my age group, but the new generation don't know much about it because nobody dare to present this type of color to them, my daughter, a teenager loved it. Thanx!! Loads of Thanx Coke Studio! At least there is somebody, who is making us proud!! Keep it up!!

Classyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. All the credit to Rohail Hayatt for bringing this style of music on the biggest platform of all. Truly representing Pakistan in totality starting from Bibi Sanem Janem , Alif Allah and now Momal Rano.
I didn't understand the Sindhi lyrics at first but I looked them up on the Coke Studio website and they're beautiful. I love how the voices/instruments seem a bit confused and lost at around 2:00, but they slowly start to find each other and turn into a beautiful melody of love and conviction.
Much respect to Coke Studio for introducing us to the beauty of Pakistan music in all its forms. :) This has been in my head all day.
In these verses, Moomal is pleading Rano for his forgiveness. The faquirs of BhitShah use feminine intonation & mimic heroines of Shah's risalo be it Noori, Moomal, Sasui, Marvi. The female character, her pleading, her search is the key to Shah Latif's message of search for Truth/God, finding approval, solace in blessings of the Prophet. Please read about these stories & this type of music will start making sense.
it is a form of music that grows on you. i understand people can leave comments like "WTF" etc. i only beg the listeners to remember that despite being a piece of music that speaks of love between Moomal and Rano, a story of our cultural heritage made immemorable by Shah Latif, all these verses are steeped in sufi interpresations that speak about the good Lord and His Prophet at a larger level. I am sure if you listen to a Hamd/Naat, you would not go WTF. (Part 1 of 2)
@deevaan Thank you for explaining all this to the world. I have deep respect to all Sufis of the world specilly SHAH SAIN who spread message of love in the Sindh. We are very blessed by his presence in this land.
@deevaan I swear I don't understand a word, but this song moves me to the very bottom of the heart and already I have listened to it atleast 50 times. Those people who think this is a bad ("WTF") song, they should learn something about the saints of this region and their propagation non-violence, peace and harmony. That is why the Maulanas were so upset against our saints, as people were drawn towards them in huge numbers.
Message to ALL people .. Don't say anything at all if you don't have anything goOd to say.. .. Coke Studio's 2nd episode may not be that goOd but it doesn't mean that we should start cursing it.. "We Love it & We'll always Love it" .. Remember Jugni?? & other excellent tracks?? Rohail Hayat must be working really hard, hope 3rd Episode is better than this one.. Keep Up the goOd work-Sir Rohail Hayat, don't worry, we're all with U made us Proud.. .. Coke Studio Rocks - Pakistan Zindabad..
This is music of hearts and minds. This came from one of the music chapters written and sung by Shah Bhittai. This is written in hard sindhi language being spoken in Larr. You may not be aware that Sindh is consisted of 4 different Parts called Dhakan, Larr ( Wacholo (centre), and Uttar.Rohail this is great work and you may find treasures in Sindh Music which can rock the world. God bless u.
Oh Miyan... Allo miyan Alla....... La la la la la la la la ...... miyan Oh..... Ruswan sar ghoriyo, chad Rana radai..miyan.... oh lapetij lateef chaye kamil kachaai oh ho ho.... kar maaf madaai ta Sodha sukhiani thiyan......miyan oh wo Allah.... kar maaf madaai... Oh! Tunhije changay khe chandan chariyaan...... aao Rana rah raat.... kanwal choondeediyas kaak ja, pirh phutti pirbhaat...
I saw these folks perform in a documentary a few years back and was completely mesmerized. Hats off to Rohail for presenting them to a wider audience. I wish Coke Studio would unleash more of these hidden gems.
Problem with this song is i can't understand a single word but this sufi band has great vocals and soul touching voice! it lacks communication between man and music!! medicore composition!!!!! paimona was in pushto i can't understand a single word of that song to but it was so amazing that i just loved it!! i am not that impressed here!!!
@POONKAATELEVISION then why you are listening, ainda kisi bndey se music haram kehne ki baat kro to ye bhi kehna k taalian aur seetian bjana bhi haram hay :-P
I still couldnt get it how come does Rohail identify such GEMS !!!Truly mesmeriz'n ... brought tears in ma eyes !!!! Rohail ... if u read'n this .. i want to meet u personally to thank you nd appreciate you .... seriously !!!

Organic music at its best!
I saw these folks perform in a documentary a few years back and was completely mesmerized. Hats off to Rohail for presenting them to a wider audience. I wish Coke Studio would unleash more of these hidden gems.
