  • I always pop the cable off the spark plug so no one steals my vintage 1980 Suzuki PE

...i could probobly do better tho considering that bike can be worth a pretty penny in that condition.

  • @720moorhsum Good idea, sometimes I do something like that

  • @720moorhsum Great idea! Oh, one more thing... I'm with the insurance safety board. Could you please email me to confirm where you park your Suzuki at night? We're just updating our records.

PS: Kindly leave a pair of latex gloves on your seat. I hate getting my nails dirty. ;)

  • @ikillbugs yeah i would but no

  • @720moorhsum lol

  • hahaha about feel out of my chair when you said there not going to cut a frame,,,,go figure just my luck

  • helpful video, thanks!!

  • Another great video that is very helpful and well meant as they all are. You can't please everyone Max and some people on here nobody can ever please. Forget 'em :)

  • @walkerrog25 Thanks dude, good to hear

  • Wow, I can see why you got the steel tips then. Before I got my riding boot I almost always wore my New Balance but one day I was coming to a stop light & while braking right foot & front brake, I went to put out my left foot & my shoelace got hung up on the gear shifter. I was 0.35 seconds away from an embarrassing lay down on the left side till I literally ad to RIP the lace off the shifter to stabilize. I swore from that time on, no more unsecured laced shoes.

  • @Michiganborn1969 Thats a good idea, you hear about boot laces that get caught up in spokes... ouch

  • Good video & Nice boots. I have a pair of Responce Gear that I got at Big 5 a few months ago & I love em for riding eventhough the store sales guys tells me that EMT's & Paramedics come in the store to buy them up and they look just like your HD boot except the logos.

What do you think of those kind of locks that lock righ on to the brake disk? Do you think they're any good? Also I can lock my helmet from the D ring to the frame under the locking seat. I also forgot my key once, So I'm human :D

  • @Michiganborn1969 Im sure they are just fine, Ive never used that type of lock before tho. And yeah these boots are great, someone in EMS recently got a pretty bad infection from a nail at an accident site going thru his crappy boots, so it was time for me to upgrade anyways.

  • LOL, just don't forget your bike is chained to your truck bumper!

  • You say your worried about bikes being stolen, but you have a video about how to hotwire a motorcycle. You have another video about how to break into a car. The biggest deterrent to having your bike stolen is to ride a Suzuki Madura. I am not saying the bike is bad, but nobody knows what it is, and there is no demand for it.

  • @motorhead1 Well, I made this video to help counteract what I am realizing was some potential for negative consequences of the hotwire video, which I made as a joke really. And the coathanger video is actually a skill that I use on a regular basis cause we are always locking our keys in, and it can really help someone out in a jam. I was just really trying to do a little good with this video is all, and steer the channel away from that kind of stuff.

  • @mrmaxstorey If that is true than remove the hotwire video.

  • @motorhead1 Sorry friend, its here to stay

  • @mrmaxstorey The truth is your more worried about views and Google Ad clicks, than if someone is here to steal my motorcycle. And thats ok, but tell me your concerned about motorcycle theft when it is obvious your not.

  • @motorhead1 Well hoss sorry you are so offended by my duplicity. Feel free to not watch any more of my offensive material.

  • @formegolf Lol thanks again Mark

  • i see bikes with jacket on seat, gloves on jacket, helmet on gloves in mall/grocery store/theatre parking lots. i locked my pos explorer everywhere i went, and these people are being so ballsy.

but, do you think saddlebags are a good idea for storing your gear when you go inside somewhere?or would that be the same as laying it on the seat?

  • @jmwintenn It all depends on what you have. I havent yet met anyone so desperate that they would steal my old grimy set of holey gloves, but my $500 textile jacket? Definitely. The only things I keep in my saddlebags are the wheel lock, some emergency roadside necessities such as old tools tire patch kit, tap, rags, string, lighter, etc. Its all stuff that is worthless to someone else, but indispensable to me.

  • @jmwintenn Whenever i see that, i usually move their crap around/on the ground etc - lets them know people are able to take if they chose to.

  • @dagazkid i understand the reasoning there, but with my luck, someone would think im stealing it or something.
