I agree.. What the fuck is the point to upload a GT5 video showing hd footage, if you're going to use 480p resolution & not 720/1080p.. Waste of bandwidth and does no justice to the actual graphics.

Today's programmers prefer the 3 core xenon, because todays PC-s started using dual core / multi core processors, and parallel programming. PS3 is the new generation, its newer technology then multi-core processors.

Cell processor: 1 PPE, 7SPE vs Xenon: 3core. An SPE is a RISC processor with 128-bit SIMD organization for single and double precision instructions. Each SPE can be used up to 98% atm. A core is a part of the CPU, and it doesn't doubles the speed, of the cpu. Each core is not a processor, but a microprocessor, and they need good parallel programming to get 60-80% speed increase. Basically with the ps3(supercomputer cpu), xbox 360(average multi-core cpu).

In fact the xbox 360 and the PS3 are both equal interms of hardware. If they wanted to they could make one for the xbox 360 with the same appearance but obviously they don't want to because sony dosn't want to support the xbox otherwise most people would buy it for the xbox because of the xbox live but I still like the both consoles though. They both got advantages and disavantages on certain things.

this is the most realistic game yet to come out in the world, sony is doing a great job making GT5, specially when it comes out that even if this game could be available to both PS3 and XBOX360 the XBOX360 version will never have the same realism like the PS3 provides.

for concluding, untill NFS Shift will come out, this is the best driving simulator there is :)

i still got my PS1 copy of GT2 on my bookshelf lol, i think ill start playing it again xD

LOL, the game is made by Polyphony and published by Sony, all of the GT games are PlayStation exclusives.

The graphics are incredible, also great vid well done. I think yes they should add damage and yes the option to switch it on and off, though not fun damage like on majority of games, if they were to add damage I think they should produce it with a sense of harsh realism, because if you think about it, if you're going 200Mph, and you slam another cars ass in, you're car isn't really going to drive after that is it. That's just my opinion. Best driving simulator ever!

I think that a damage model would effect gameplay in a somewhat negative way for people who like to drive and race technically, turning it into a Destruction Derby type affair where all the little kids will want to play just to crash into serious players. When damage is implemented in GT5 I'm sure it will done in such a realistic way that it will be very frustrating for many and very satisfying for the "Destruction Derby" set. So to have the affect turned off will be a great option.

@quebecgold80 - Customisation in Forza 2 & 3 was what really attracted me to the series. But I always felt GT4 was a more polished and smoother simulator. Look forward to GT5!
