How is the old dashboard worse? The NXE, while for some people it might be nice for a change, it looks gay. The overall feeling of it is too childish, even the menu select sounds sound kinda gay. It's also annoyingly laggy, and it takes about 30 seconds for you to be able to see who is online. The xbox guide also takes too long to load. MS Should have made it possible to switch dashboards, make avatars optional, and put all the new features, like parties, into the old dashboard.

Hang on here, microsoft started the use of internet and online gaming, yes it was originally with ps2 but the original xbox was more advanced and propelled online gaming. It also brought out a market in between gamers and family.

Think about achievements, one of the greatest inventions in gaming, it makes the gamer explore parts of games they might not have done, as achievements like seriously on gears of war, it made people play it more and kept interest! Ps3 then brought out trophies....
