This movie was pretty cute- my kids were glued to the screen. They were laughing and saying how awesome it was the whole time. If you're an adult with no kids who never watches kids movies you'll probably find this ridiculous and unrealistic, but kids love it.

4D just means stuff can touch you and stuff. In this movie you get a scratch card and there are numbers that appear on the screen at certain times and you scratch the corresponding number on the scratch card so that you can smell what is going on on the big screen. Basically it's suppose to make it be like you're experiencing it at the same time as watching it. Honestly though that's what shows like Disney's "it's tough to be a bug" at California Adventure and Animal Kingdom.That is a 4D show...

@Toastteam Apparently it's a mix of 3D and physical effects (Such as wind blowing over your face from a fan when someone in the film is falling or wind blowing around your ankles to simulate something like being in a sewer full of mice/rats and them all brushing passed your ankles). Most cinemas probably wont have 4D if this is the case.. Just 3D but this trailer made me feel a little sick personally, I hated the first spy kids and this looks just as bad to me.
