The guy's vocals could work, if he omitted the pig-squealing in the middle there... Talent, sure, but the over-use of attire and the mention of "Hair Metal" in the beginning goes far in suggesting that this poor guy lacks the crucial understanding of what makes Death Metal great. I did not see the entire thing, but I can only assume the guy did not go on to the next round. Not because the guy's not good, but because of the seriously unpopular genre.

im an opera singer ( tenor) and i thought the death metal vocal was brilliant. i love death, grindcore and so on and many people dont seem to realise that a good death vocal is a talent as much as traditional singing is. i hate rap, rnb and so on, but i have to admit, to rap well isn't something just anyone can do and again is another area of vocal talent. I sing opera better than his dad, but my death vocal attempt isnt a patch on his son. well done to him. Long live death metal.

He IS in a band. The name is Oxidized Faith, they play quality tech death metal and they have released a very good EP in 2009. His vocals still rule, he uses this great range of his all over the album. I recommend them.
