  • in "new" your videos you look tired from life :|

  • Hmm im confused, I thought og was "and" why was pa used? Great video though, fast norwegian the words are so interlaced its so hard to understand :( Indonesian and afrikaans have clear distinction between words.

  • Your videos are very helpful since I need to learn Norweigian because I'll go there soon.

  • you are so funny. I like the "oo yeah" phrase. :)

  • THIS VIDEO IS THE MOOOOOST USEFULLLL!!!!!!!

    VERY,VERY GOOD THIS WAY ! SUPERT !

MANY PERSONS WOULD PAY FOR THIS KIND OF VIDEOS !!! I DON’T HAVE MUCH MONEYNOW,BUT WHEN I WILL HAVE I WILL REMEMBER TO MAKE A DONATION.

    THANK YOU AGAIN !!!!!!!

  • Super thanks !Thanks for all your videos!

  • Oh God you are like the perfect Norwegian girl.

  • I loved it, and I love that you take the time to make these lessons! They are so personal and unique.

  • Hi Karin thanks for all your videos you make it fun to learn norsk! keep it up! and if you someday come to Portugal just say something i show you around ok lol

  • Do people naturally speak that fast? I'm trying to learn norsk at the moment and I know that would just fly over the top of my head...

  • I live near Mexico, but I hate Spanish! Don't know why, I find Nordic and Slavic languages so appealing, like I find you appealing ;) Maybe it's genetics, idk... Keep up the videos, I'm subscribed!

  • what you are doing is brilliant and its really sweet of you to upload these videos for us, norsk language learners ..I hope u keep up the great work :)

  • Very interesting video! Norwegian lenguage sounds very nice! swedish and danish are more dense.

  • So well done. Really imaginative presentation with the three versions. And you are so perfectly articulate in English.

That was a good way to know how much I have learned in Norwegian. I have understood everything, even your fastest, but it was because I could read it. Thanks, like always.

  • @rafarrojas Really good.

  • I'm so sad. I seek asylum. I hate South Korea. I'm afraid. Time is running out. I'm so poor. I'm a genius artist. I want high quality of life HELP ME NORWAY SWEDEN FINLAND DENMARK GERMANY BELGIUM NETHERLANDS FRANCE ETC...
  • this helps a lot.dont stop :) tussen takk!

  • This is great!! More please? Tusen takk!

  • Veldig nyttig! Takk!

  • This is very helpful - thanks so much. This gives me a good opportunity to check how I'm doing with basic pronunciation. But you also want to know what real norwegian sounds like beyond tedious word by word enunciation.

  • Great way of teaching the language. I don't think the English speakers that are trying to learn Norwegian need the English spoken part at the end. Unless some people can't read.

For me it's helpful hearing it slowly and enunciated and spoken properly.

  • This is perfect! Please do a lot more of these. <3

  • GO TO A NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL CONCERT NEXT TIME, then talk about in a black metal voice.

  • It's not "søstra miN"?? My husband is sitting by my side (he's Norwegian and we're in Norway) and he had A LOT of trouble understanding the fast version! I'm scared...Karin, if the story is true, I'm so happy for you to score those tickets!! What a great present :))

  • @Zemfira25 No, on the eastside its "Søstera mi" or you can say" Søsteren min" wich is gramatically wrong due to the fact that "søster" is a female word. She`s not speaking that fast, sorry to say. Norwegians should have no trouble understanding whats she`s saying. Where`s he from? Is he speaking with dialect of some kind maybe..

  • is the first story you told true? cause your b-day is in July. so did u go see Britney Spears?

  • This is great! Please more of these!

The slowly spoken Norwegian is a bit too slow in my opinion, but this is so useful for learning to understand/speak Norwegian at full speed :)

  • No need for subtitles :D;)

  • We want the video from the concert too! :)

  • Great idea and really helpful thanks a lot karin! :D

  • great! you made it understandable

    wonderful concept too

    :)

  • I think you are same norwigian people. In the fast way.because norwgian people do not talk slowly ...thanks tusen takk

  • ahaha jeg hater Britney Spears men veldig bra video! Tusen takk!

  • Maybe it would be easier to understand the fast Norwegian if you did the slow version first.

  • Fast Norwegian is way too fast. Medium fast might be better next time. Have fun in Sweden.

  • The first minute was rather difficult for me. I had to pause and resume like 10 times.

  • This is a great new format idea for doing more advanced norsk!

  • Wow! fast Norwegian is really hard... At the moment I can understand only a few words in the slowly Norwegian.

Thank you very much for this fantastic video! I'm beginnig to love this amazing language :)

  • I like the idea of you telling little Norwegian stories (fast & slow). I guess it's how we learn as children and it works well. You could try and make up interesting stories, like maybe about a chimp that becomes a famous novelist and writes on a typewriter! Go crazy!

And yes, you prove our point - you look stunning with little or no make-up :)

  • great idea! please do more of these ;) its really helpful to hear the regular way norwegians speak so we can get used to it

    thank you!

  • Søstera vs søstern :)

  • haha i understood fast norwegian pretty well

  • i like this concept! i feel like i learn more!

  • @crienexzy awesome idea! it helps alot, for me at least, to hear it spokin the same way you would speak in your day to day life. get to hear how the words are supposed to sound when put together! mange takk!!

  • can you do more of these please! x

  • Even though our languages have nothing in common, in Croatian we say sestra for sister, just thought it was interesting.

  • hoćeš biti moja djeva?

  • Finally Ive got something exactly what I need, this is the best way of learning foreign language..many thanks!!

  • 1:39 lol

  • Understanding fast norwegian is hard.

  • @karkelkhan opino lo mismo, pero sin lugar a duda un lindo idioma.

  • Whoah! So the possessive pronoun goes after the noun? 1:11 sostra mi = my sister? Love your videos, thanks for the upload!

  • Well done! I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep it up! =)

  • Good video. I like this format. It's important to hear what it is supposed to sound like at normal speaking speed and your slower version afterwards was slow enough so I could follow it properly. You should make more videos like this.

  • this is a very good idea

  • kewl...u did the slow part too slow for my taste, but great concept, hope u make more of that

  • aaaaa super :D i actually understood everythin in first ''fast nor. version'''

  • hoppas du får det bra i stockholm då. min lilla syster va på britney spears konserten i malmö, hon sa att det va skitkul.

  • Takk for videon
