Yeah I believe my trainer commented on that this lesson. But then again I was holding him back like no other. xD He is a strong old man. Lol no stirrups has gotten easier for me but I don't like when I can't do it well.

yea, the long legs my momma gave me helps too:P lolz maybe you could suggest to your trainer to try doing quadrils! they have REALLY helped Liza and I on controling our pace!

where you ride patterns with other riders and u have to control where you and your horse are in the arena in comparison to ur partner. they are opposite u. like fiugere 8s where u cross. its like drill riding.

leg yeilding is putting presure on one side of ur horse using ur leg, to move forward but have ur horses legs crossing over.

but dats de worst description ever. so type it in and search it. :)

no leg yeilds are just moving to the side and forward at the same time. i think that the horses legs cross only at a half pass, which are pretty much impossible! ive done them though

Oh that must stink! We only go a few laps or more idk without one and then switch stirrups or sometimes we do both. When we get more experienced my trainer will probably let us canter no stirrups and jump even! My friend, Maddie, does.

2 point is hardest at the trot, but you make it look easy! There's a horse at our barn that is sooo hard to stop becasue he is so pushy! He seems just like Shaggy!

His name is Milo and he's a Peruvian Paso. He's got huge feet and he's really heavy on his front end. And if you want him to stop, you'd better think again! LOL! There's only 2 people I know at my barn who can ride him correctly. He's our little butthead :P

Well Shaggy is like 20 years old and arthritic so he starts out slow. We have to warm up the lesson horses a lot when it is cold cause they are older.

At 0:54 it looks like you're looking out towards the window or something. While riding try not to do that because then your horse may think something is wrong, look, then spook.

But great job! He looks fun to ride. :D
