The only downside I noticed is that SVER weapons take one head shot while raven guns take 2-3 depending on the armor8)

SVER wins due to their imbalanced maps, followed by a general shift in the playerbase. Nobody likes to lose, so naturally alot of players moved to the overpowered faction.

Regarding weapons, it's pretty straight forward. SVER has the lowest accuracy and rate of fire, but the highest damage. Raven is the polar opposite, with a high ROF and accuracy, but low damage, and Valor is a happy medium across the board.

And all PMCs have the same number of weapons. (17)

The maps are balanced the same as all maps are. The guns are also same for every team. It just requires teamwork and people to spread across the maps to stop flanks. I have lost on some of S.V.E.R's supposedly unbalanced maps and its only because a lack of team work and too many snipers. Valors Sabtage is probably the most unbalanced map in the game

Some losses do not count as balance. My win/loss ratio for the past month is 4.47. That's 152 wins to 34 losses, and despite my near 600 hours worth of game time, and 7 vets, I will argue that SVERs teamwork is only mildly better due to having the long term players vet there, but even that small increase in general competance would not result in such a ridiculous imbalance in how easy it is to win on SVER.

And the weapons are not the same, not at all.

not true. of my clan BHD i believe only 2 of the 40 odd active ppl use heavy armor.

i use medium and medium plus. pre 2.0 only used light.

and am currently using just a shotgun and a smg so as to not bother with wasting points on the assault teir.

once both are at 100 ribbons i will respect and get my assault and lmg to 100 ribbons as well.

and the only faction that has the stigma of running heavy armor is valor (with their lmgs)

I got this game the very first day it came out (almost a year ago) and I have an account in all PMC's... You barely see Raven or Valor heavy armor users in the other hand (like I said b4) 90% of SVER players use heavy armor and shot guns, just yesterday I was playing Escalation and SVER was holding D and every single SVER player was on heavy armor and using shoot guns...I mean that's just pathetic.
