The thing about Kevin Pollack is not only are his impressions bang on, but his material is awesome. Not too many people like him around. Wow. I just commented on a you tube video. I'm sad now.

The magic of people like Pollack is the ability to warp their mental activity in order to put themselves into the character they are portraying. It is one thing to have the speech patterns and mannerisms of a person, but the ability to carry on a conversation of original thought and have it flow out in coherent stream just as the person being impersonated does is an art. I enjoy how Pollock can move between an impersonation on one hand and an impression on the other.

@1955thekeeper That's the problem with so many impressionists; they never come up with truly funny material. Before doing impressions, impressionists should run their material by a group of friends WITHOUT doing the impression to find out if the material stands on its own.

aah, you always make me laugh so hard. I have this theory, that people of the same background or ethinicity can impersonate each other very easily...so Jew can impers, another jew, black to black indians to indians etc. Like any indian can do the accent of their grandparents, and jamaicans can do other jama,,you get the picture. all your impersonations are great. The alan arkin is on the money. christopher walken is genius cuz its not just the voice, its a charicature of him and funny hoo.
