Many of the music I love I heard from TV shows. Television is an art form as is music, so the way they (writers and the staff that are in charge for picking songs to amplify the tone during a scene) combine both makes it more awesome. like radio, i consider TV another outlet to discover new music. My music tastes would probably still be Blink 182, Greenday, and Taking Back Sunday if it wasn't for shows like Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy and Veronica Mars (there are tons of shows i like)

Anybody can just choose a track and then put it on a video timeline. Using other artists to amplify mood in a scene is not art. Its taking the easy way out.

It was so good that the network told them to dumb it down, and eventually it was canceled and replaced with a stupid reality tv show because most mainstream americans are too dumb to follow shows as clever and fast-paced as veronica mars.

@Porojukaha It had character development, billions of cultural allusions, clever dialog, great acting, great writing, and an awesome music score. The fact that they used artists such as the pixies, wolf parade, pete yorn, spoon, velvet underground, m ward, etc just shows great taste.

VERONICA MARS was a tv show that ran from 2004-2007. It made Kristen Bell HUGE. Here's the IMDB synopsis: After her best friend is murdered and her father is removed as county sheriff, Veronica Mars dedicates her life to cracking the toughest mysteries in the affluent town of Neptune.

Doesn't sound that interesting but trust me, it's AMAZING. Look up the promos for season 1-3!
