GM/Holden, as well as Ford, release some really neat cars down there. Ford had mid 300 horsepower N/A smallblocks in Australia long long before the stuff finally got here, and Holden is the one responsible for stuff like the GTO and G8. The aussies like their RWD V8 platforms, bless em.

Hey mate were didi u get ya tune from cos u should of got more out of a tune then 234. i got a vy ss wag and with extractors over the radiator intake and tune from gm motorsports in melb i acheived 251 rw with 1180 foot pounds of tourqe. is it really cammed

WOW WAT A WEAPON, how much did the cam set you back?

about 4k with cam, 90mm maf, 1.8s, springs, pushrods, tune etc

Wife used to get 17-18L per 100 driving 15kms across town, used to take just over 45mins and average speed was under 30, 3rd gear never reached. Our VY v6 wagon used to get 1-2 l less on that same trip.

I had 222/224 cam, 1.8 hilift rockers, 90mm maf, harrop throttle body, modified airbox, 3.9 LSD and 6 speed. Freeway was anywhere from 8.5-10 depending on what sort of roads, flat was always 8.5-9. When I drove carefully in medium traffic she was around 14 but where I lived it was pretty all 60-80km limits with traffic lights more than every 500m and once the traffic slowed right up and my heavy foot on top it was nothing wierd to see 17-18s. No different to before the cam really.
