That sure was quiet for straight pipes, especially on a 5.4. I have 4 cat's and a muffler and mine isn't far from yours. And i really don't know bout that 350 hp. the chip won't make that much difference and pipes really aren't all there talked up to be power wise...

nice truck man, yeah you're probably closer to 300hp but hey it sure beats stock, or the 4.6 no torque.I got a '00 f150 7700 and it can hold its own.I got the box chip,k&n stuff,ported throttle body/spacer and upper plenum, working on installing a true dual setup that'll make a difference.Then i move on to bigger injectors and throttle body.

you ARE NOT getting 355 horse...not even from the block. check out my video of my 99, mines all tuned out cold air intake underdrive pullys tb spacer gatorbelt 180 thermo true duels with highflows and im probably sitting at 5.4 level. If i did that to a 5.4 i would be sitting about about 325. Tuning does ALOT more than superchip. Let me guess they "told" you it gives you 40 more horse and you added that..

Wow, Idk about a 1999, the newer ones it would be possible, I believe the stock HP on the 1999 were 260 HP (360 S/C) To get 95 HP would take some time, I hate to say this but at the most it might have 310 HP But still you don't need to be a dick about it, weather your truck is faster, or his is. you'll never know. it almost always depends on the driver, not the truck (the extra HP does help tho :P) and on the remark that "FORD SUCKS" Have you ever driven one for more then 5 mins? I guess not...

your truck cant get out of its own way, and its not that loud. youre not getting 355 horses, GAURANTEED. straight piping from the cats back is only gonna net you about 16 horsepower before the chip, then maybe 20-25 after a chip, while the garbage ass superchip is giving you less than 20. my truck is taller, better looking, and has more horsepower than yours will ever have, go fuck yourself.

like I said in a previous post. get a set of cams port the heads full exhaust delete the cats. and get custom tuning not some boxed chip. also invest some money in upgraded injectors and a super charger. my guess is your HP is right around 270-280. and thats a healthy estimate.

do you know how much it cost to dyno a car. I don't have one in my garage. I changed the gear ratios took the back seats out and got rid of a lot of weight. The 355 Hp was what a racing mechanic suggested it should be at now.

yes, i do know how much it costs... but that doesnt mean i go around with a guestimate that is something more towards a truck with full exhaust, cam, intake (not just a CAI either), programmer. probably more... id get a new mechanic if he says your will make that.

liftin the 2wd's is pretty cheap..youll be spendin the money on tires more than anything. 200 for a body life, and a 40 or so for a 1.5" coil spacer in the front, maybe even a spindle lift and blocks.
