  • I had this vinyl. This was a great song, but much better live with Hatchett. Man, I get high just listening to it.

  • Danny Joe Brown :Great singer saw Hatchet in 1979 at the Peabody in Daytona last encore was a special song for some special friends they did Freebird excellent concert

  • He died of renal failure after suffering a stroke and diabetes.

  • @FrevrYng07 Sure do. Hear of gold and was lucky to have the parents he had while he was alive before he passed. Nicest people you would ever want to meet. They treated my like their other son. Also miss two other friends of mine who, not too long ago, Jackson Spears, drummer from Blackfoot and Duane Roland original guitarist from Hatchet. Well i guess my days are numbered too.

Danny Joe's last performance really touched my heart!! Sorry to hear about the other friends. I met the Blackfoot band years ago and got their autographs. Thanks for sharing the information!
