@tondalayono1 I enjoy reading comments as well as watching these vids. After reading iSelltohunters06, then your comment I began my own search. I find nothing on a B-17, but plenty of info regarding the B-25 "Tondelayo" that flew with 345th Bombardment Group known as the "Air Apaches". While I know for a fact planes often had similar or the same name (there were at least 4 "Fearless Fosdick" B-24's, one of which my uncle flew with the 15thAF, 459thBG). Where do you get your info?

@tondalayono1 There is less information showing the Tondalyo as a B-17 than there is as a B-25. Even a Wikipedia search only comes up with results of Tondalyo a B-25. The info I found on the B-17 said it had been hit by friendly fire damaging the rear stabilizer but that the Germans shot it down several months after that incident. Like you said "i suggest you look it up befor you make cheap comments. "
@tondalayono1 Actually, the Tondelayo seems to have been the name of the B-17 you mentioned AND a B-25, curiously enough. I wonder how common that sort of thing may have been ?
@tondalayono1 apologies good sir, i had it confused with a b-25 mitchell with the same name only spelled "Tondelayo" its is part of the wings of freedom tour. by the way Outstanding model!

@myleftnutts Thanks mate. She actually took 3000 hours. Hard cost was $35,000.00. As she was the first to fly this size from this plan we have made sum 80 changes to the design to allow for extra strength in the tail section. I am finishing a 245 inch Catalina then I will build Tondalayo no 2.
