Scientists at McGill University have recently discovered that, despite popular belief, the gene that allows you to enjoy skating is not connected to the gene which makes you attracted to the same sex. @laidbacklongboarders They're meant for skating, whatever that may entail. People don't make special bearings for speed, they make bearings and we use them. Most "skate" bearings aren't even made for skating, they're made for machines and just put in packages that say "skate bearings" on them.
