I am no expert on care, but I house two females together in a big cage, one of my girls is going to have a litter soon, and while she is delivering the other girl will go into the cage they go into while i clean their cage it is only a third the size, but i would prefer gidget to give birth peacefully and not have to deal with the added stress of another nosey girl.

I clean her cage everyday. I agree that these people are completely mistreating their guinea pigs BIG TIME. But I am pretty positive there are other people from other races that also mistreat their animals just as bad or worse. It has nothing to do with what colour the person is..

@TheChuyReyes100 Wow, seriously? Yes just like all mammals they need a male to become pregnant. However you shouldn't try to breed your guinea pig...ever. It is very dangerous for them and most of them die from birth complications. Plus, if you don't know the answer to that question I would say you don't even need to be thinking about breeding. Just adopt another pig if you want more. There are too many out there for people to want to breed babies. And always get the same sex as the one you have

You don't have to, but you probably have to clean the normal cage up afterwards. It'll get messy. And if you have other piggies, it's probably easier to just stick the mother in another cage until the little ones come out.
