  • When I was in the Army they said you're only supposed to shoot equipment with a .50 cal, not people.. well, a helmet is equipment!

  • me likey

  • There's something I still don't understand.... Why is the M2 so QUIET in these videos? Meanwhile when someone fires a .50 Antimaterial rifle, presuming shooting the same rounds, it sounds like an artillery shell exploding.

  • @DGneoseeker1 it's not quiet. ._. it's probably just the cameras microphone.

  • @MrTripitz Must be, I guess... But for some reason whenever someone fired an antimaterial rifle on youtube, it's SUPER LOUD.

  • @DGneoseeker1 plus i think it's because the anti material or lets say the m107 isn't as open as the m2 so the sound all comes out of the end of the barrel which focuses the sound in one direction instead of dispersing it all over ?

  • dear santa.....

  • He got on a Hardline suit lol Faster killstreaks XD

  • @ItalianBlackheart123 dude u play black call of dudy too much jesus u should say thanks for serving and saving my lazy asshole if ur gonna comment

  • those coil guns ain't got shit on the good ole' .50 cal

  • Perfect lineup for a Zombie Apocalypse....

  • like someone is farting.

  • TO ALL WHO NEED TO KNOW.......U can get some .50BMG American Eagle at Cabelas for $ 48.00/ 10rd box..+ tax of course.

  • @nodmessenger you fucking retard he said 7 $ not 700 its 7.00$ for one 50.cal round

  • MA DEUCE!

  • i can hear just farts

  • @Kackamann1 you have some wierd farts then

  • Why does everyone say dear santa or comes with every russian happy meal, thats so fucking stupid

  • 700 a shot? ummmmm no! its more like $5 bucks a round. civilians are charged higher for rounds. typicaly around 10 i think

  • wow are u stupid like 10 bucks a shot

  • Warfare is Expensive... :(

  • sounds like aload off wood peckers partyin

  • Bet they're steppin' and fetchin' in that SHOPPING MALL on the other side

    of that field!

  • 50 CAL=1 MILE

  • awesome gun but the only flaw is it fires 550 rounds per minute but its a 50 BMG and it is supremely accurate

  • rate my commet if you wanna kill some zombies with a browning 50.cal lol

  • Do soldiers in the military wear ear protection?

  • @pwnrzero on the ranges we do, incountry however we don't

  • @pwnrzero yeah ear plugs whenever possible

  • can i have dis so i can be safe in zombie apocalypse....

  • Is it any wonder why we've been using it since 1933?

  • @junkers1337 Not really this thing will cut you in half

  • seriously, imagine getting hit by 1 of those rounds

  • @LockDOTspot you'd get hit by the bullet not the whole round.

  • This vid doesnt do the sound of an M2 going off any justice. When I was in the gaurd out on our u.s weapons Marksmanship training the sound of that thing would rock the hell out of the surrounding area.Sounds like thunder only louder.

  • @raver0ller i agree, earplugs/hearing pro required

  • Oy. Hate to police up that brass.

  • the video sucks, the sound is too quiet, they sound like .22's. The M-2 is a loud ass gun.

  • they are so quiet

  • had you been shooting these long before recording because there is a large pile of shells? or were they just never cleaned up

  • hmm had you guys been shooting them for quite a while before you began recording because there is a big build of of empty shells? or were they just never picked up before?

  • hmm had you guys been shooting them for quite a while before you began recording because there is a big build of of empty shells? or were they just never picked up before?

  • are those Browning M1919?

  • This is a big field.. and also I guess.. the mic isn't picking up the sounds .. or perhaps the sound waves travel up and forward..

    50 Cal is definately loud.

  • Can somebody say Ammo Detail

  • i think these are marines pre marpat

  • poor zombies... :C

  • HOLY BALLS!!!! I didn't ever realize how big a 50 cal round was till I looked at the casings on the ground. There almost as long as the guys foot. I bet those things could completely shred people apart.

  • It sounds surpressed

  • @Godofrockl666 Lol wut? I dont think they make suppressors for a Browning .50

  • @Breakneckhydra1 I know I think it was the camera

  • look at these wannabe cool basterds hahahahahaa

  • woo hoo for the national guard. their the oldest branch of military I think? lol. nice vid :)

  • this has nothing to do with guns but when you go to a wwe event the fireworks pretty much burn your ears

  • Wtf are they shooting at? No wonder the Talibans are winning.

  • @azynkron It's a machine gun shoot. For Fun. IDIOT

  • haveing one of those go off, you will feel it and it would feel like you got punched in the chest along with your ears being cuffed

  • The audio doesn't do the .50 justice. That weapon is very loud!

  • now thats a gun right there boys haha

  • i love the sound of fifty caliber

  • "MY EYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • youd think that shit would be a little louder

  • it sounds quite becous echo and gun bursts are shortend if you shot it in real life or at least saw some 1 do it you would understand they are way louder.

  • what are they doing. (besides shooting 50 cal machine guns)

  • nothing:p

  • trying to find a live by shooting... ;)

  • wtf you hear putt putt putt and you think only a couple of rounds have gone but for every putt you hear about 6 casings leave the gun, what's with that?

  • @73mandala

what your seeing is the casing and the links from the belt, they separate and it ejects them both

  • the camera cant record every blast of the gun becous 50 cal shoots realy fast and even if you heard it in real life it would still sound like that

  • I want to see sumone shoot the rambo 50 cal

  • That is the "Rambo" 50 cal... The M2 or Ma Duece... It was designed by Mr. John M. Browning and is the oldest military weapon still in use today...1921!.. Its a bad ass mother and I would hate to be on the recieving end... It was wicked cool to watch Rambo shread those guys in the movie... probably one of the best Rambo moments to date... That and when he is hip firing the M60 fucking everything up that was a brilliant moment in cinematic history also... Well action movie at least...

  • "First Blood" capitalized on the 1970s cynicism toward authority. I don't think that movie would go over as well today. Rambo in the book starts off sympathetic but becomes unsympathetic at the end.

  • @Sirhcislo IDIOT!!

  • Use unmaunted ^^

  • doppeltopt

  • How much does the 0.50 caliber round weigh?

  • 80.6 pounds it's only used on tanks and anti aircraft and is still being used today in iraq today

  • The Mk211 Multipurpose round weighs 43-47 grams. M2 armor piercing round (old round) weighs 113 grams. M903/M962 Saboted AP round weights @80 grams. The M903/M962 round cost $7.50 a round. The Mk211 round cost less than $7. The training round M858/M860 is less expensive but gives you all bang you need.

  • Holy crap, at that price we might be better off shooting them with rounds made from compressed dollar bills instead.

  • @blindandwatching that's what it costs the government to produce these rounds? Also that weight variation seems alot as it must be the amount of powder that gives the 43-47 gram weight is that correct?

  • The ammunition is produced by a civilian manufacturer not the government. The weights are determined by the material the round is made of. The Mk211 round as far as my sources say was designed to be lighter and have a larger powder charge for greater range. The M2 is a heavy machine gun and has a crew of two.

  • He asked how much the round weighed, not the gun.

  • na we use it on people in afghan!

  • It would be fun but wouldnt want to spend 7$ a shot

  • @GunAddiction

It helps that Uncle Sam is paying for it

  • @ryanpm92

No, if you pay taxes, you're paying for it.

  • @ryanpm92 well your paying for it at the rate of 15% every week of your hard earned money for the last 9 years, and Haliburton and a few others get the profit, a small portion of Americas elite,it's criminal when you think about it,btw where's Rumsfeld? it's his lies that has brought us to where we are now, that bastard should be arrested and charged with war crimes,he even put a missile into the Pentagon to suck you all in to thinking you were under a major attack,he would stop at nothing

  • @73mandala You my friend, are retarded.

  • @jacobniece Haha you're the retarded one for going back 8 months looking at comments made on a clip of a guy shooting a 50 cal, got nothing better to do than troll through comments, do something constructive, get a fckn life

  • @73mandala i try to impress, thank you

  • @jacobniece You're a troll I can appreciate. High five fella.

  • @GunAddiction I thought it was like $6.75 a shot?

  • @GunAddiction 20$

  • @GunAddiction Anyway, you are paing 7$/shot, where do you thing that your tax goes to ?

  • @GunAddiction you can make a round for about $2.50 depending on the grain.

  • @GunAddiction more like $700 a shot

  • @MrHi6333 $700 for one round of .50 BMG?

  • @GunAddiction completley true

  • @GunAddiction

well seeing as how it's the military firing these M2's we the tax payers are paying for the ammo.

maybe the US Government could let us go shoot them now and again since we bought them!

  • Whats with everyone butchering the English language? lol

  • @MrRedeyedJedi HAHAHAHA. I cannot believe the hypocrisy here.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi maybe a product of the American education system?

  • @MrRedeyedJedi well lets see here. could it be the fact that its the internet and we are not all grammar freaks? people like me tend to not care about how fancy our writing looks.

  • they is in a firing range

  • Umm, i think the correct grammar is "They BE in a firing range." Jesus, you're dumb... /sarcasm btw

  • those fucking things are bad ass man i wish i could shoot one

  • As I have heard, you can fire Uranium 238 depleted .50 cal rounds, heard they go through metal like hot knife through butter.

  • I havent heard about depleted uranium rounds in a 50 cal. But they do exist primarily in 25mm and 30mm rounds. As well as the 120mm on the Abrams. There is however S.L.A.P. rounds have great Penetrating capapilities for anti armor needs.

  • They don't sound as loud as i thought there were gonna be.. cool though

  • trust me...they're loud in person.

  • they actually arent that loud, but the compression you feel around you, especially in your ears is pretty cull

  • @OvertOps you hear 50 cal in person? super loud

  • @OvertOps yeh, we went to a range where they were shooting the .50 snipers, and you could feel the blast from 30 feet away

  • yeah, I bet man.. huge bullets.

  • yea, they shake your gut too.. its awesome.

  • @tetra19 A cameras mic has a point where if something is too loud, it wont pick it up, the .50 cal is a example, if you shot one with out ear protection, your ears would ring forever!

  • Don't matter what they are, They are Protectors of America.

  • U spelt it wrong...it's "Guard"

  • He used the wrong from of there, it should be they're, as in they are.

  • @OvertOps dont forget "They're" haha

  • @907ted it really doesnt matter who they are, theyre americans...i tend to favor the marines but in the end its about what flag they go under...think about that one for a hot second

  • @907ted lol is the little faggy Mexican sad cause he cant get into America? D:

  • @907ted you sir..are a retard lol

  • @907ted

    They're, guard**

  • @907ted its spelled "they're" and "guard"...judging from the coyote brown molle plate carrier and boots, I believe they're USMC...not national guards

  • NAVY SEAL OR MSOB ????

  • I can tell you they are NOT Marine Sons of Bitches! (MSOB)

  • rangers???

  • shit... I dunno.

  • yah i recently learned that too, heh. cuz i used to wonder. its just what it sounds like

  • can someone tell me how a m2.50 is fired???? i know there are 2 handles...but wheres the trigger? on top of the handles? and whats the point of having 2 of em?????please reply..:(

  • its a butterfly trigger. like a lever between the handles.

  • Its called a butterfly trigger, There are two handles and there is a twin-thumb trigger in between it.

  • got any links so i can see what a butterfly trigger looks like?

  • its called a butterfly trigger and its between the handles and they have 2 handles because of the power it has and imagine someone holding a 50 cal with 1 handle and no tripod!!lol

    Canersikes,

  • google images it :P

  • its called a butterfly trigger you push with your thumbs

  • butt wht happnes if enemy far u dont any other gun well better be safe then sorry always pratice all ways and think out of the box ^^

  • weird...thought .50MG has more of a "boom" sound rather then "tick tick" sound when fired, anyone care to go into detail is welcome

  • its the camera the sound of the 50's are drowning out the mic and sound

  • us Brits use SUSAT & ACOG scopes on the .50's, are the Americans using scopes too now?

  • our 50 cals are mounted on our humvee's and tanks. and when your in iraq you don't normally get shot from long distances. so we don't use scopes. scopes would screw you up and give you tunnel vision in a close firefight. definitely something you don't want. plus its extra money that just isn't needed. 50 cals are meant for close fire support...not long range shooting.

  • Timeless classics, the design is nearing the 100yr mark.

  • Whoa damn. Just awesome. How accurate are these? Say if you had a scope on one and fired a single shot.

  • Very, very accurate actually, due to inherent characteristics of the round and the weapon. Actually, during 'Nam the legendary USMC sniper Carlos Hathcock held the record for the longest combat kill ever using a customized scoped Browning .50 machine gun (over 2,000m), long before the days of military .50 cal sniper rifles.

BTW the most accurate mil-standard round is black-tipped AP, as far as I know.

  • i guess the glas in a normal scope would brake becose of the vibration that big gun causes?

  • Good guess--if you're talking about cheap scopes. A GOOD scope will hold up to use on a .50. The US military widely uses the Leupold MKIV Tactical, which will handle a .50 all day. Other good choices are Nightforce, certain Swarovski and IOR Valdala scopes and a few others. Of course, you will pay dearly for this extra quality.

Interestingly, the actual muzzle blast of the .50 (blast "wave," if you will) is what most often destroys cheap scopes, rather than physical vibration of the gun.

  • There are a lot of variables on these, like the specific ammunition used, and how tight the headspace is set, but during testing at 1400 yards, during the Korean War, they found that they were able to keep all shots on a 12'x12' square, but only hit a standing figure 16% of the time; that average goes WAY up when using precision-loaded ammo or a specialized 50-cal rifle.

  • Ak47 ftw!

  • my cock is bigger

  • I think you meant to say "American weapons are THE sh*t"

  • haha American weapons are shit yeah right well thats a well researched comment

  • Just goes to show you that some brand-new MG coated in polymers and plastics may not be the best heavy MG out there. It's dependable and launches a big bullet-all you need...

  • Those 50s are awful quiet - did Dillon modify the barrels, or is it just a quirk of the audio recording?

  • Don't nuke this, brother--these here are completely stock Ma Dueces, and yes they are friggin' LOUD! Like, bone-jarringly loud. (BTW Dillon has nothing to do with them.)

I would say the quietness on the vid is due to the crappy mic on my camera combined with the crappy speakers on your computer.

  • Ah - roger that.

  • this MG from WWII ?

  • The original design for the Browning M2 is from Late WWI actually. But they kept it upgraded and its still a damn good tough as nails design!

  • It was introduced in either 1932 or 33.

  • Yep...my Ma Deuce is older than YOUR ma! (Probably)

The diff of course is my ma still puts out...

  • as old as it is it still kicks ass

  • hey guys whats COD 4 mean?

  • "Call of Duty 4" -- video game
