@junno111 Working on it; going to tan a couple days next week before shooting in Grand Cayman. Oh, the untold suffering I endure for the sake of my students! Got an island fav you'd like to learn?
Awesome! Love your teaching style...perfect for a beginner like me. Love to see how you play some Zac Brown. Toes, Knee Deep, Chicken Fried, etc. At any rate, thank you! Looking forward to watching some more.
@nemmers Wow thanks! You flatter me. I have a lesson for Where the Boat Leaves From by Zak Brown on the website; More Than Guitar dot com (You Tube doesn't like links in comments for some reason). Go to the home page a sign up for the free 14 day trial so you can access the whole site. Use nemers as your login and I'll give you a month for being so nice.
Thank you for this lesson :) I've just started playing, and in class we were learning this song and I wanted to see if I could get it, I have a hard time changing chords, and my hands are uncomfortable in the D chord, but this did help me practice, thank you :)
Awesome lesson! That was surprisingly easy. Do u think you could teach us Feels food to be me by uncle cracker. Btw u sound like johnny cash when u talk and u have a great voice

Thank you so much for this great lesson. I JUST started playing guitar. This is the first song I want to learn. Your Margaritaville lesson is the BEST by a mile! Thanks for showing the intro, chords and the strum pattern! Most people don't explain those things and it makes all the difference. I can't wait to play it. Thanks again and Fins up!!!
Hey Mr Morethanguitar great lesson but i still have a question, i know u gave us the strumming pattern but i just wanted to make sure im doin it right its (D chord) DUDUDUDU (G chord) DUDUDUDU (A chord) DUDUDUDU and than (D chord) again and so on ? thank you
This is by far the best video for learning Margaritaville on youtube, I am just getting back into playing guitar and you make learning fun for this song the intro still gets me on the timing but I am learning . Possibly another Jimmy tune say like Lovely Cruise would be another great one. Thanks man .
Change chords early. It takes all of us time to move our hand. Starting out, it takes every one a little longer. You can maintain the steady beat of the song by giving yourself a beat, or even two at the end of a measure so that your fingers are in place for the next chord one the "one" .
Watch my new video about palm mute and let me know if that helps.
@point5chink You flatter me! Generous as you are, will you check out my other lessons? Maybe suggest another song you's like to learn? Can't guarantee such a nice location but I'll do my best.
great lesson.....now get some sun on those white legs LOL

We were taught this in class 2 months ago. I can now do the intro and a strum pattern, no palm mute yet.
The next problem is how to change chords and keep the strum pattern. Thanks
