moving the magnet back and forth changes the inductance of the entire circuit. One direction of the magnet reinforces the field, increasing inductance, and when you flip it around, it opposes the field, decreasing inductance
yes. So this explains the Hendershot "tuning". However, there could be more to it. If the bar is instead attached to the horseshoe magnet, its field is NULL. If the solenoids can pull it away from the magnet, its field would re-appear. By creating a flux like this, the Q goes way up in the tank circuits due to the induced alternating flux. The frequency response curve goes lower.
There is leakage flux to contend with, you could test for it with a compass with the keeper in place on the magnet. Even with the keeper in place, there is some leakage flux, so the field can never be NULL.
ppl, an expert person educated based on mislead textbook, will not be able to understand how Ed Leedskalnin Flywheel work. Unless, he indulged and let the nature's way, teach him/her. Drop those one sided instrument, it is disgusting when you are studying the work of Ed.
Yes this is very much like the leedskalnin device, and i love that you are trying to actually put the phenomena to a practical use. Go find yourself a u bolt at a hardware store to really get the colapsing part going on. Iron would be better than steel, but actually you probally need at least silicon transformer steal or better if your going to pulse it at that frequency. Good luck
With MJH's memory of how the BAR was near the solenoids, this might be a clue that the Hendershot Fuelless Generator was exploiting the make-and-break phenomenon that Leedskalnin also used. This is interesting to me because this phenomenon is not a steady-state phenomenon -- and hence not a simple physics problem.
actually breaking the magnetic loop can probably happen WELL after the pulses is no longer asserted to the solenoids since the Leedskalnin trick holds the magnetic loop indefinitely. The other horseshoe magnet is needed to PULL it off as the polarization disappears when the pulse subsides.
This is a superb video.

Macgyver might duct tape those things to the jaws of a vice to see the results of exponential increases and decreases in the magnetic fields.

not a concern because what we are after is changing flux; weak to strong to weak, etc.

The technology of tomorrow is built from the technology of today.
I'm not sure why you would find that disgusting ... given you are using a one-sided computer to add your comment to this video. :-)

that what i was saying sorting the magnetic field
keep going!

yes -- actually breaking the magnetic loop before it fades from the pulse induces current.

interesting the flipping of the horseshoe magnet and the voltage response!
nice experiment
