I don't remember but I think it's 1/2 step tune down

even if the tuning was down 1/2 it wouldn't matter because he is using a string as a capo on the first fret which would make the tuning standard

... I don't see the string that should work as a half-step-ascend-enhancing tool...

1. A string can't be used as a capo, unless it's ridiculously tight, so tense that approximately all strings would break.

2. A capo has to sit behind the fret of which the open string tone should be to. His string is at the saddle, or whatever it's called, most likely for noise reduction. Good try, though.

Sure a string can be used as a capo I use them all the time and I've never broken a string that way. Of course by string I mean shoe lace since that is clearly what he is using. And as far as noise reduction is concerned he the second and third chord he plays is a C Major and a D Major both of which have an open string in the chord. So if he was using the shoe lace for noise reduction those chords would have a muted tone in them. Good try, though. lol

Noise reduction = elimination of all background noise. Therefore, no elimination of the notes (even open ones) that meant to be played. Again, good try.

@BlackWentel cause i live in a town that doesn't have any guitar shop and i don't live near anywhere that does, so it's not that i dont have the money to get a capo, it's just that i don't have anywhere to get one from.
