  • you'll never get a lively clean sound out of any marshall, let alone a little 15 watt solid state

  • that guitar is really out of tune, lol. A lot of ppl say that in these demos, but this is like half step up on some notes.

  • cold shot... you need more gain on it bro!

  • SRV!!! YEEEAAH

  • I have an original, no replica stuff. I bought it new 40 years ago, "Blonde with maple neck." Right on the receipt.

  • I used to have these in my deluxe strat and i hated them...To me they sound very thin compared to even standard strat pick ups, it almost totally looses the bite of a traditional single coil. Ill take that 60's cycle hum over these pickups any day

  • i love Stevie Ray Vaughan's Cold Shot how did you know?!!

  • can i use this pickups to play rock and hard rock?

  • you can get them in black, iv got a set.

  • dude.... Please don't do this...

  • Is that a squier? Because it has that "toyish" sound...

  • @taurus1269 no its not a squire... at least i dont think it is. on the squire, it has the same bridge as the american strats... this has the old bridge that is on the mim strats.

  • Is it just me, or is that beauty a bit outta tune?

  • can u set on distortion?

  • lol

  • Hello!! It´s Time by Helloween! hope you enjoy!

  • what song its a 2:04 thx.....i always like the noiseless sound i hope some day i can buy ones for my strato....

  • CORDE NUOVE SAREBBE BENE NO?

  • Good playing. I think you're worthy of playing on better tuning. Not dissing your ability to tune man. It just gets to me lol.

  • shine on you craazy diamond lol

  • It is a little on the quiet side, still sounds good and i get the point, i have a front/neck vintage noiseless pick up coming in the mail

  • Jeez. With the guitar so close Its hard to actually hear the pickups. Take a few steps back and crank up the amp man, thats what its for.

I know how regular guitar strings sound. XD

  • something called tuning.....¬¬

  • hi whats in 1.45? tnx

  • @cezarPCS : The Beatles - "Twist and Shout"

  • how can you test a noiseless pickup with a clean sound ? damn.

  • @raphexe Umm It's pretty obvious that they will reduce hum. He is just testing the sound.

    :)

  • @raphexe actually this is the kind of sound I was looking to hear...They are obviously noisless I just wanted to hear the clean....

  • @raphexe it's not just about hearing no buzz you jackazz...you want to know that the tone is good clean and dirty.

  • @orion681 the whole point of using a noiseless pickup is to avoid all the parasites of a single coil when you push up the gain ! if you want a nice clean sound, don't buy those. I was looking for silent pickups to play leads when i put my (a bit mean i conceide) comment, and I finally went for kinman woodstocks (pretty good stuff btw).

  • @raphexe because distortion covers a guitars true sound, damn... most people always say use od/ds but if you listened to most of the most famous rock guitarists they didnt use any :P

  • @markdocker yeah but the whole point of a noiseless pickup is that is noiseless lol, I expected from this test to show me how silent it is with overdrive ! every pickup is silent with clean sound ! ^^

  • @raphexe i guess so but my guitar hums sometimes even on clean :P

  • @markdocker bad wiring ! or bad electric setup in your room.. or bad amp maybe ! dunno

  • @raphexe nah there old, 60s style wiring for you :P

  • @raphexe

Are you fucking stupid? I don't think you understand what noiseless pickups do...

  • @raphexe Wouldnt that be the opposite? How else could you tell if they were noiseless, UNLESS you played clean? If you played w/ distortion you wouldnt know if they were humming or not.

  • @jgk381 No, the more gain you use, the more noise you have, just try it !

  • @jgk381 when you turn distortion on, everything is cranked up, even background noises and parasites.

  • @raphexe ah 'i see, I rarely ever play with distortion so I wouldnt really know, was just guessing. Strictly clean tone funk/r&b type stuff for me. Not really impressed with these pickups in this demo, sound too muddy to me.

  • @jgk381 That's why these mics exist, or noise gate !

  • tune your guitar.

  • i hear the same thing that i heard out of my own noiseless pickups in my opinion the vintage noiseless pups always sounded dead without clarity especialy on the lower strings wich is what this sounds like to me i enjoy clarity and for me these pickups dont have it but hey thats my opinion

  • this is great this dude is showing everyone what the pickup can do... and he is getting ripped on... for messing around..nice

and texas specials are over rated... i got some custom shops srv's when the first got out... and there okay but i would take my usa pickups over them any day... i think there strags...

  • ho yeaaa sounds fucking great.!!

  • Oh, sorry! Almost forgot! Tune your guitar before your next vid!

  • @Fattyfatfatfat92

    you are a douche...

  • @Fattyfatfatfat92 you fat ass try uploading a vid to see what u got

  • If your're gonna go and TRY to play SRV, at least use some texas specials and a blues pedal or at least some slight distorion. Oh, he plays the neck pickup by the way!

  • @Fattyfatfatfat92

Texas Specials are very over rated. Do you think Stevie used "Texas Specials" in his career. He was the Texas Special.

  • actually stevie mostly used a clean sound with lots of volume and while he did use the neck pickup alot he mostly used the neck and middle together and you dont need texas specials stevie used plain old single coil pickups nothing special about them he just tuned low to get a fatter sound and most of his tone came from his hands

  • i bought these pickups, and i hate them. I am going to get the CS 69s or the DiMarzio DP110 FS-1

  • man if your gonna play SRV i think you need Texas Spacials lol but anyways those sound great

  • where can i get a guitar like this?

  • i have that pickups

  • How's this on distortion??

  • Can you get these pickups in pure white or black?

  • You can probably just get black or white covers. Not too expensive,

  • Nope... just this vintage white

  • they make them in other colors too.

i have a custom strat that came with pure white covers, and they sell black ones too. you can't use regular pickup covers either, they have different spacing.

  • You can actually get white covers for the noiseless fender pickups

  • @kidmumudf That's not true...they are rare in black but I have seen them, in the fender page there is a set of them..in black

  • @kidmumudf you can buy different pickup covers

  • @kidmumudf Got mine in all black with "noiseless" on them. Ebay is where it's at.

  • @MedievalEscaper i have those in normal white

  • @MedievalEscaper yes you can. MF has them.

  • Muito bom.

    Belo som de Guitarra.

    Vc toca muito bem.

  • I have recently bought these pickups and I miss the clarity, the edge and bite that original strat pickups have. I'm gonna replace them with the old EMG SA kit I had on the guitar earlier. They suck to, but they at least have some bite and edge in them.

The best buy is SUHR silent system, but it costs...

    Nice playing though.

  • is that a mexican strat??

  • It is handmade he said.... Have you got something against mexican strats?

  • good playing, dude. your guitar is almost the same as mine. I have a strat the same colour, and I put the noiseless pickups on it as well. you could check out my video and then you´ll see that our guitars are almost the same

  • mmmh, it didn't sounds so good IMO!

  • His playing isn,t bad but the pickups r missing a lot of tone. They sound like a guitar running through a processor w/o true bypas. the natural tone is missing. I have these p/u on my fender dlx and I rarely to never play it.

  • i have the same problem with my 50 s MIM strat its missing a lot of tone and i was thinking of puting these PU in my guitar but you dont recomend this ? ^^

  • Don't put them on your guitar. They have no sting.

  • I am building a guitar, and was planning on putting one of these in the neck position, but now that you say that, I'm kind of questioning that idea. What pickups would you recommend? I really want that bass-y, blues-y, aggressive sound, sort of like stevie ray vaughan, or eric clapton.

  • i wanted the same thing when i went to look for new pickups for my jimmie vaughan strat, so i got some fender fat 50s pickups and they rip

  • Thanks! I'll check those out=)

  • Eric Clapton uses active Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups.

  • There are no active Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups..

  • he actually uses Lace pickups. he used to use fender noiseless though

  • i doubt it matters what pickups clapton uses because he will still sound like clapton no matter what

  • the pickups will really give a different sound even with the same playing style though, you could be using a humbucker and have a purer warm sound, or single coils that are thinner and have that singlecoil twang. bit bit difference.

  • strats with noiseless pickups never i mean NEVER sound good if you don't get the EC signature guitar.. or atleast have everything the exact same.. beccause comeon! comparing this to a EC signature guitar is to really funny for the fact that it's sooooo much better than this.. listen to it yourself.. type Eric Clapton signature stratocaster and click on the first one and see for yourself ;)

  • true wisdom, right there.

  • he may still sound like clapton but he sound like clapton with a different tone. also week pickups will not let you get harmonics were has hot pickups will.

  • I call this a successful test!

  • a Fender tem o poder e você é bom..hahah
