i think they mean -5degrees Fahrenheit which is -20 Celsius which is actually too cold by todays standards.

LOL..the FIS officials will control the temperatures! That means an official will have a thumb on the thermometer when taking the official race-time temperature.

I got this on tape too. It's funny to see ESPN in Biwabik. Probably the last time ESPN covers nordic. My cabin is there and it gets cold. It's sweet to see the air shots.
