That really only applies to people with many subscribers. If they don't have many, getting blocked pretty much shuts them up, because even if they were to make a video arguing a topic with you, their views would be very low in most cases.

I hate people like PCS who went through deleting every comment that wasn't sycophantic ass kissing. Even genuine questions relating to his content were ignored.

I like that Rabid has enough respect for his viewers to let us know what is/isn't acceptable.

I block people too...not on youtube here. I don't have a camera, but I have a myspace and other places. I might be in a bad mood and block someone, but I nearly always unblock the person. Thanks for the term "grounded", hehe, never thought of it like that.

The real issue with blocking, censoring comments is that it can be portrayed as circumlocution of your dissenters positions. Of course, some comments are just stupid. I encourage stupid people to leave a written record of their shallowness, ignorance, or bias. I like open channels and open forums. Idiocy exposes itself through its actions; I say let the community see.

lol, it was earlier this year that I did my first "mass unblock" (which had about two years worth of spammers and fucktards). That took a LONG TIME (more than one sitting), as there isn't an "unblock EVERYONE" function... I almost didn't do it.
