I cant suggest what you need to do more of since all drummers have their own style but all I can say is practice a bit more, if your going to use mics, switch them on maybe? Also before you get mics, get better cymbals.

@flamingpeacock26 What I'm saying is that cymbals better than B8's or atleast something in the cast bronze series should be more of a priority over getting drum mics. B8's arent that bad as such but they aren't the best or else Im sure you wouldve stuck with them. Although, I must admit 5 years is a while. I had Zildjian ZBTs and I upgraded to cast bronze cymbals within the next 3 months.

Pretty good timing on the fills, and quite nice beats, but just try and work on solid counting in the pauses, so you come in spot on every time, and also, pleeeeeeeeeease, if you have that many cymbals, play more than just that B8, cos it sounds so tacky, but also very repetitive!!!

It doesn't matter rudiment you play, you're not only supposed to grip the sticks with your thumbs and index fingers...whoever taught you was on crack. That's never the right technique. I don't even know how you could play flams with that technique because the sticks would be so out of control.

You have a decent idea here, but you should do more with the music track rather than just playing one beat.
