used to have a 95 neon, i put so much work into it it was rediculous, just to get a tiny gain in power. ported and polished the head, put in bigger mopar valves, high performance springs and retainers, big cams, header, full exhaust, ecu upgrade, and injectors, sold it shortly after that, although i was going to put a turbo on. if i did the turbo it would have been smoking anything in its path, but without it it wasnt fast at all, maybe swift, or nimble, but not fast. still loved that car tho!

Neon's are str8 cars I own a 2nd gen. All I did was add a fuel cell, cat bacc exhaust, and an intake system to keep the engine cool and gas effecient. To make it "reasonably faster" I replaced an array of wires and plugs, adjusted the timing and the ecu settings as well as other preformance wise measurements to squeeze out the potential of my engine. Thats tuning, squeezing as much potential of an engine as possible, not just slapping on aftermarket parts and a fart can and calling it a day.

I just got a like new low miles 99 Chrysler neon CS and plan to mod it. I'm starting with the lights and minor interior changes such as the shifter knob, steering wheel, audio system & gauge cluster. Not too much needs to be done since its already loaded with Leather seats. As for the exterior its silver so after a light & grill change Im done & the only other things left to do is the engine & suspension. I think turbo charging is the way to go to keep the MPGs down. any sudgestions?
