fact: subaru licensed the song from a writer for use in their commercial. the writer hired erika davies to sing the 30 second hook.

then, as a collaboration of sorts between the original writer and erika, erika davies wrote the complete version of the song by taking the hook and adding the verse/chorus & bridge which you hear in this video. miss davies took artistic freedom & decided to replace the whistle with i do do do do do do do do do do do do's.

I just bought a 2011 Subaru Outback. Every time I unlock my car, the "beep!" reminds me of the "Where did we park" commercial...it's a crack-up! To celebrate my new Outback, I just bought the Erika Davies "I Love You, I Do" song on Amazon.com.
