  • Brent is my personal favorite from EBC. Just because he's the combined incarnation of two of the best things on Earth: Gaming and heavy fucking metal! \m/

  • I thought dat was savage mission

  • I pisses me off how they make it the whole game sound bad over one level. I personely didnt find it disturbing but for people who do stop bitching it gives you the option to skip that level like 3 times even in the middle of the level your allowed to leave. So if you find it offensive skip the level and stop bitching about it.

  • apparentley none of these critics have played GTA IV because in that u can shoot up hospitals, fuck hookers, kill cops, kill anyone, steal cars. modern warfare 2 is childs play compared to GTA IV

  • First time I played this I did indeed find it to be rather disturbing. But at the end of the day a videogame itself does have the power to turn a sane person into a psycho. The three most important things are in my mind as following:

    1. If there is a purpose to the mission besides just killing people.

    2. That the players have the option not to get involved with it.

    3. The game has to be R-rated and strictly forbidden for underaged kids.

  • They've cleared all that and it's up to the parents and adults not to let their underaged children play these sort of games.

Personally I don't like it but others are fine with it. And that's only fair. Besides this mission I thought it was a great game.

  • It's freaking games, meant for 18+, jeez , time to start censoring movies like SAW instead in that case..

  • @titian1992

The difference being, in GTA you are meant to be the bad guy whee in this you are supposed to be the good guy supposedly.

  • if you criticize this game for that one mission you should kill yourself because that shit isn't real and they give you the option to skip it if you're a pussy and can't handle that shit. the game is fucking awesome that mission is really badass. who fucking cares if you kill people in an airport its a fictional game. don't make a big deal out of something that isn't real.

  • dude you were awesome in the Hart Foundation! i bet you're jealous that Bret Hart went on to legendary status while you faded into obscurity.

  • Holy shit i laughed my ass off......The Hart Foundation....lol

  • The media needs hype to make money and viewers, they dont give a shit about wahts right or people's opinions.

  • OVERHYPE!!!!!!!!

theres been way worse in gaming

btw, if they ban this before i get it im going to kill myself

  • Lol when I started playing that mission, I couldn't believe it. My jaw hit the floor. Regardless, the rest of the campaign has proven to be very fun.

  • its overhyped mission is lets say ok i dont see any brutal agony like in SOF or MOHAA (yes no blood but agony is awesome).

  • Yes you are given the option to play as an undercover American psychopath, or the alternative option; which is to skip the whole level. Besides there are games that do this in a much worse way than on this ONE mission. It's not bad enough to make you not buy the game.

  • I straight up am not buying this game because of this mission, and this is from a hardcore COD fan. It's absolute bullshit that Activision feels they need to include something like this in their game when you're putting the player into the terrorist's shoe and practically glorifying what they do. Honestly, if this were just a scene in the game, I wouldn't be complaining. But the fact that you're given the option to actually control a terrorist is bullshit. Fuck Activision and fuck COD.

  • You do realise that you can skip the level? Also, you are not really a terrorist. You're a CIA agent working undercover. You infiltrate a Russian airport with a Russian terrorist group. I will not spoil the rest.

Not buying this game just for this level would be a shame. This isn't the only level in the game, and you have the option of skipping. so just skip it and play the rest of the levels.

  • It says cod on the case lol.

  • @afrogranny

You dont " control" a terrorist your an under cover CIA agent working for the US, General Shepherd wants a scape goat so Russia kick off with the US. SImalar to 9/11 if you actually bothered to buy the game and play the story you'd realise that you faggot it also gives you the option to skip get a grip man grow up

  • i got to that mission and my jaw dropped i felt bad if i was gonna shoot the civilians so i just walked through the whole the thing.

  • Frankly we here worse new's about real thing's that go on in the world everyday; yet we never stop to say "wow I can't believe that happened". A military base was invaded and soldiers lost their lives in the past few week's; that is something worth talking about in a shocked, and or sober manner. However in all the year's I've been gaming I have to say that I have killed many innocent civilian's in countless other games. How is this any different? It isn't that's all there is to it: undo hype!

  • I thought the mission was brilliant. It pushes the boundaries for gaming. This is just more anti-video game people ranting at something that is yes controversial but it's necessarily a bad thing. I was shocked myself when I played it but I wasn't horrified or disgusted nor did I feel the need to go out and re-create the event. Video games are no stranger to controversy. Have we all forgotten "alien sideboob?"

  • It was the best mission in the game, bro.

  • Not really, I thought the sub-scene in Second Sun was pretty amazing, as was Contingency in terms of gameplay setup in the first half and story in the second.

  • i thought that the whole ''terrorists killing inocent civilians in a crowded airport'' was gonna be just a cinematic, but when i played it i was SHOCKED to say the least, but taht doesnt mean that i wasnt shootin into the crowd like it was a bunch of baddies.... i mean, im sure that this is some peoples sick fantasy... anyone remember the game ''state of emergency'', kinda similar.

  • i played it, and its just a game, but something didnt feel right about doing it. This isnt something i thought i would care about, and if people wanna play the level then ok, the game even gives you the option not to! but... playing it disturbing

  • I mean yeah it was a fairly intense and disturbing mission for sure... but it's just a video game, it's rated MA 15+ for a reason, if you're underaged you shouldn't be playing it, the reason it's that rating is it's legally avaialble for an audiance mature enough to handle the content, and if little kids freak out about it you can't blame the game... blame the fucking parents.

  • your beard haunts my nightmares.....in an unrelated note im not wearing panties....and im i guy, erotic? no but intresting.....wait what was i talking about.

  • Thanks Brent, and my thoughts are that this whole subject is.... Well of course with 9/11 some people are still touchy about it (I included) but the mission can be skipped and that's where it should of stopped when they say you can skip it. If its to heavy for you by all means skip it.

  • where's the video?

  • Just found ya videos dude. Know im a subscriber. Nice stuff

  • When i do that level i will play with one eye half shut...........

  • I have to admit that Brent is my favorite EBA dude.

  • If you think that airport scene is such a big deal, then you haven't played GTA IV... I've done worst things in that game.

  • u mean like beat up a hooker, take her money, shoot her in her face then run her over multiple times with a moped?

  • yeah but as i was discussing with someone today, you chose to do that, the game never forces you to kill civilians, thats your choice, in modern warfare 2, if you select to play it it forces you to kill civilians, theres no way other to complete the mission, and if you choose not to play it you have to watch it.

  • now the MW:2 for the PC will be the flop of the year and raise the price of PC for $60 :O

  • Great, will be checking it out

  • Thanks brent, you're awesome man, I love EBC! Keep up the brilliant work!

  • Part I:

Ok, now here's the deal. Activision told the press and the customers in Germany that the German version would be uncensored, and that would be the FIRST(!) uncersored CoD in

    Germany at all!

So after months of doubting and further questioning of this statement, Activision still guaranteed that the German version would be totally uncut.

  • Part II:

Ok, now on the verge of the release of the game there comes this new statement by Activision, that the airport scene will be slighlty censored in the version we get. What the funk?! This is a slap in the face and a kick in the balls, because it takes two to tango. I'm so pissed, it's not funny.

  • Part III:

As a customer you get the impression that Activision doesn't take you serious in no way whatsoever! They think they can do with you whatever they want, just because they are so big in the buisness. I say, f**k you Activion, I won't buy any game from you anymore!

  • There's a reason why IW made the airport scene optional:to avoid this controversary, but yeah I do take issue with IW in regards to the PC version.

  • Getting this game tomorrow, can't wait :)

  • to much fuzz just for a game...

  • It's just a game. It doesn't bother me at all.

  • cool...i'll check that out right now...

  • Awesome stuff.
