Bobs career had already spanned decades by the time he died.He proved that album after album that he was a great musician.Singer songwriter fantastic guitar player. Musicians like Cobain and Hendrix weren't around long enough to see if they would have lasted the test of time. Who knows if Jimi and Cobain might have faded out of the limelight. I think that after the grunge era was over that Cobain wouldn't have been as popular today if he didn't die.Bob was famous for his music not his death :)

Hey I'm with you and I am a huge BOB fan... I agree no comparison with Kurt, however I must respectfully disagree about Cobain fading, he was a great songwriter in his own respect. Of course his songs are not as uplifting as Bob's, but I know you know that much. Kurt had his very own style, actually pretty much created grunge across the world. One thing though that was very simalar in Bob and Kurt was their lack of wanting superstardom. Marley will always be #1 to me......
