i always listen to some music light goa music. And at times my eyes close and i could still see my ceiling and the corners move slightly. I get scared at times because i do not know if my brain is playing tricks on me. I sometimes get sleep paralysis as well. And usually if i go to sleep late i could see waves of images in my eyes before sleep it is like i am seeing my dream but not fully lucid :/.

For those of your asking meditation is self hypnosis. I know these techniques and was going into the stupor until he said "You are now asleep", if my defenses didn't kick up it would have worked.

As others have said, this video doesn't put me to sleep, but it does put my mind at ease. The only flaw with this video is the buzzing background noise that's heard, I would suggest uploading the video again without this sound if you're able. But otherwise, great video!

Meditation isn't necessarily always a conscious act. It's being aware, and one can be aware when they drift off into sleep. You become aware of your body, your thoughts, your feelings, and you allow them to exist with no attachment.
By doing this, we can let go of our anxieties, our worries, our thoughts and fears and coexist with them in a way that allows us to sleep.

I have always had trouble with sleep. I've tried everything and nothing really works. Recently I've had a lot of stress in my life and a few weeks ago I started using meditation for the first time to help manage my stress. The daily meditation has really helped.
I want to thank you for your videos especially this one. It has really helped me. I think you have a real gift for this and I want to thank you for sharing it.

I have lived with people who snored. My advice is to do as much relaxation as possible before sleep. If you do wake, instead of feeling annoyed feel what you are appreciative about with your husband - takes practice.
Second thing, speak with your husband about it, ask him to sleep on his side. Tell him that if you are woken you will wake him and you want him to turn over.
It may take a few days of doing this for this to work but it has worked with me,
I would say that the more you meditate the less you feel like sleeping as your sleep is much deeper and more restful. But I would not recommend that you replace sleep with meditation. Not until you have been practicing for a few years.
I go with how I feel - if I am tired then I have a longer sleep but generally I will sleep 8 hours a day.

I agree with what Pumpie says. I would add that this meditation is to help someone sleep.
Meditation before sleep is a method of unplugging the mind. If we don't unplug the mind then we can have trouble sleeping.
Like pumpie says, meditation releases those thoughts, fears and the mind can slip easily into a restful sleep.
And yes, you do need to be awake to meditate but if you fall asleep while meditating there is no harm done...

I would say that the more you meditate the less you feel like sleeping as your sleep is much deeper and more restful. But I would not recommend that you replace sleep with meditation. Not until you have been practicing for a few years.
